Feast One Hundred & Thirty

Appetizer - Have you been sick yet this winter? If so, what did you come down with?
I have a sinus infection right now and am on the BIG anti-biotics. I had pneumonia back in December which about wiped me out...so the answer is a definite YES!! I have been sick!!

Soup - What colors dominate your closet?
RED and GRAY I would say. Two colors that I seem to gravitate towards when I go looking for clothes. For so long I was large and it was always black and dark colors now I want to look for the pinks and the pretty pastels even though I still have a long way to go with the "battle of the bulge"!! I feel better about myself!!!

Salad - How would you describe your personal "comfort zone"?
You know I never thought I really had "ONE" but I had a neighbor that kept coming down to see me and I found out that she was bi-polar...bless her heart!! She could not help it of course!! When she would be on her "highs" she would get completely in my face. I had never had that feeling of having a "comfort zone" before!! But now I know what it is!! I so hated to confront her since I knew it was really NOT her fault. Finally when she "came down" from her UP period we were talking and I told her. She said that she was sorry. She would just practically back me through a room she was so IN MY FACE!! Wow that is a feeling I don't like. I guess to describe it...I do now have a certain area that I do not like MOST people to get into. Those that I really LOVE...well that is another story completely!

Main Course - On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant?
In the first place...I don't like reality shows so I guess I would not like to be on them. If I were a better singer (and years and years younger) I would try out for American Idol...Now I guess I just lied...I do like that and I like Dancing with the Stars (IF) you call these reality shows. I don't like Survivor and shows like that. I guess I cannot really answer this one fairly!!

Dessert - Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite?
It would have to be Christmas!! I cannot give gifts like I used too but I do love to watch people open them and see the surprise and fun on their faces. I would rather give the gifts than to get them myself. I have always loved "watching" people open gifts. I love to go slowly with gift opening. I think that is the fun part. Also if our family can somehow get together that is even MORE IMPORTANT than anything!!

Great post. I have to admit I love reality shows! Lol

And yes, I can definitely relate to people getting in my space. I hate that feeling. It was good you voiced that to your neighbor. It will help in other relationships too.

When we watched TV I liked SOME of the reality shows~not the ones where people had to eat disgusting stuff.

Hope you don't get sick any more!!

Great feast, Sandy. When people get in my face, I finish what they started and they think twice before getting in my face again. Including the men. I do not back off. I chased my nieces boyfriend away from my hose with the golf club. all the way out the drive way and down the street. Cause he called her a c**t. Your dessert is sweet! :)

Thanks for stopping by.

Well, sorry to hear about your sinus infection, Sandy. Hope it's gone soon. As for having bipolar friends, I've had several and they are definitely a challenge!

Good feast.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Cheers,
Carol

Because of my Granny, we have always opened our presents one at a time, with everyone present that can be there. This prolongs the fun, you get to see what everyone got, You can see everyone open your gifts you picked for them, and it makes everyone appreciate the gifts more. Plus, we try hard to not throw presents away, and it's slower, so we do better with that!!

I have to admit liking some reality shows, but I like to watch ones without bad language (all those dating shows?? ug), and Dancing with the Stars even got uncomfortable with some of those costumes! I was a bit not sure if my 11-yr-old boy ought to watch the suggestive moves of some of the dances! But we watch some, alltogether. I love the Amazing Race, though---all those countries the go to!

Hello! I'm on the "Over 50" bloggers and out trying to meet everyone. I'm sorry to see that you "hate" kitties...We have two birds now so I have to go visiting to get my kitty fix. I'm finding it easy to do so on the blogs. Lots of kitty lovers here!!! We also have a couple of dogs so we've got both fur and feathers covered.
Your blog is overall delightful and I will definitely be back for a pick-me-up.
~~~Blessings~~~
my closet is mostly dominated by red and black. I love those colors.
I like some reality shows but like you not survivor or shows like that. I guess if I were going to be a contestant it would be on a decorating show instead.
Like you giving gifts at christmas is my favorite thing.
I had no idea about Daisy! I'll have to hop on over there and check on her.
Have a good week!
