If you could be any current celebrity for one whole week, who would you want to be?

You know i really would not like to be any of the celebrities. I think that most of them live a very lonely and unfulfilling life!! I like mine just fine. I know that my marriage is very stable and that my children are great and lead good lives...So NOPE I will just stay ME!!

On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being highest), how much do you enjoy talking on the phone?

Almost zero!! I think it stems from being a receptionist so much. I had one job at a church where I would answer some 100 calls a day!! When i got home I never wanted to touch the phone much less talk on it. I think that is why I like IM'ing a whole lot and of course email!!

Name a charitable organization to which you have donated (or would like to).

We have always just tithed!! We give to God and HIS church!! That is about all we give too. I would love to help others with money but i have to have it first!!! SMILE!!

What is a food you like so much you could eat it every single day for a month?

Hm..I don't think there is a food that I could eat all of the time. I LOVE variety in my life!! I would get so bored. The only one that I can remotely think of would be bread...I love BREAD!!

Have you or anyone in your family had the flu this year?

We both got the flu shot this year. I always get it and hubby never does. We just happened to be at the doctor and he asked hubby if he had one and of course being the scaredy cat that he is...he was trapped!! So he got one this year!! No, we have been okay so far!! I just hope it stays with us being here in the cold cold weather of Illinois!!

I love all music. I don't have a current favorite because I listen to all kinds of music all of the time. Now I guess it would be Christmas music because i am hearing so much of it now. I have always loved, "O Holy Night"

For myself? i do not want anything this year!! There is nothing that i honestly want or need this year. Just to watch other open up their presents is fun enough for me.

I don't know about the WHO but i do know the shows themselves that should not be on TV!! The ones where they go just too too far should not be on there. What they talk about anymore is disgusting to me!! I get very picky when it comes to what it being said!! On the other hand, I do like the shows where you have to figure out things...NCIS; Prison Break; 24; CSI and those kinds. But as far as WHO....i do not have the slightest!! We try to not spend much!! Because we do not have "much"!! I am not sure of the exact amount...how can anyone be...but it will not be much believe me!!

Last night I guess..CSI!! I always watch that and several others on that same theme!! Yes, it was good!!

Well we just did!! They are a sandy color..tan!! I like it a lot. Looks really good with my curtains.

DUH!! Now IF I HAD THOUGHT OF SOMETHING I would have had it patented by now and I would be a millionaire!! SO!! That means I have not thought of anything. I wish though that I had though of taking babies T-shirts and putting a snap between the legs like some great "woman" must have figured out!! I hate it that i did not think of that one sooner!! What a clever idea!!

For one I work out at Curves 3 times a week plus I work there..that has to be some what healthy; I try to eat as well as I can...but ice cream slips in sometimes..OOOPS!!

I have always used CREST!! I figure that I would have less cavites because the commercials say so!! SMILE!! So do the Colgate and all the other commercials!! I just have always used it!! I like the original brand but have tried the Cinnamon and the Lemon..both have a great taste to me!! Yes, I like it or i would not still be using it!!

Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?

What mother does not have a scar someplace on her body?? I have had 3 children by C-section so I have 3 long scars and another one right there also from a hysterectomy!! I always tell everyone that I have two medium sized loaves of bread on my tummy!!! But it was worth it all!!

What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?

When our last baby was born, she almost did not make it. She weighed in at 4 lbs. 6 1/2 ounces!! I always considered her our "little miracle" because of all that she went through to get here and to make all the advancements that she did. She grew so quickly once she got home. We brought her home at 4 lbs. 2 ounces and she grew within 6 weeks to 9 lbs!! What a miracle that was to us!!

I know a little bit about a lot of subjects but not a lot about just ONE subject!! I know a little about computers, a little about crocheting, a little about scrapbooking, a little about being a mother, a little about being a wife and a little about being me....each day I learn a little bit more about everything!!

Imagine you were given the ability to remember everything you read for one entire day. Which books/magazines/newspapers would you choose to read?
OHHH!! What a loaded question!! I would choose to read and remember everything that I could in the Bible!! That would be what I would pick. I have learned that everything that we need to live this life is in our bibles!! We really do not need any other book. If I could remember everything that was in it EVEN if it were only for a day...that would be great!! Can I change the question and be able to remember it FOREVER!! Thanks!!!

Feast One Hundred & Thirty

Appetizer - Have you been sick yet this winter? If so, what did you come down with?
I have a sinus infection right now and am on the BIG anti-biotics. I had pneumonia back in December which about wiped me out...so the answer is a definite YES!! I have been sick!!

Soup - What colors dominate your closet?
RED and GRAY I would say. Two colors that I seem to gravitate towards when I go looking for clothes. For so long I was large and it was always black and dark colors now I want to look for the pinks and the pretty pastels even though I still have a long way to go with the "battle of the bulge"!! I feel better about myself!!!

Salad - How would you describe your personal "comfort zone"?
You know I never thought I really had "ONE" but I had a neighbor that kept coming down to see me and I found out that she was bi-polar...bless her heart!! She could not help it of course!! When she would be on her "highs" she would get completely in my face. I had never had that feeling of having a "comfort zone" before!! But now I know what it is!! I so hated to confront her since I knew it was really NOT her fault. Finally when she "came down" from her UP period we were talking and I told her. She said that she was sorry. She would just practically back me through a room she was so IN MY FACE!! Wow that is a feeling I don't like. I guess to describe it...I do now have a certain area that I do not like MOST people to get into. Those that I really LOVE...well that is another story completely!

Main Course - On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant?
In the first place...I don't like reality shows so I guess I would not like to be on them. If I were a better singer (and years and years younger) I would try out for American Idol...Now I guess I just lied...I do like that and I like Dancing with the Stars (IF) you call these reality shows. I don't like Survivor and shows like that. I guess I cannot really answer this one fairly!!

Dessert - Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite?
It would have to be Christmas!! I cannot give gifts like I used too but I do love to watch people open them and see the surprise and fun on their faces. I would rather give the gifts than to get them myself. I have always loved "watching" people open gifts. I love to go slowly with gift opening. I think that is the fun part. Also if our family can somehow get together that is even MORE IMPORTANT than anything!!

What was one of the fashion fads when you were a teenager?

I had to go get my scrapbook out and look...long time ago. But I do now remember the angora sweater sets that matched the skirts because I never had one. The girls that had the money had them. I was a farmers daughter and we could not afford them. The big coats with the animal collars too. Some of the girls had the beehive hairdos also. I was fortunate. My mother made a lot of my clothes.

Name one thing you think people assume about you when they first meet you?

I really have never thought about it because "what you see if what you get"...mostly!! I am what I am!! There is nothing "pretend" about me at all...just ask my hubby...He will tell you...or ask my friends..they will tell you that also. I am just me. I try to be honest and upfront with everyone!! I love having friends and I am just ME!!!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how hard do you work?

I have always been a 10 when it comes to working!! Now that I am getting older I find that work will always be there and that stressing over it is SILLY!!! Things are done like they used to be. My house is not as immaculate like it once was...but who is giving out awards anyway?? NO ONE!! So why STRESS about it!!??? I am letting myself have more fun!!

I guess my hubby's corvette...we NEED to sell it SOON!!!
