A Joke for Monday

Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun
in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other.
He says to the waiter:?

"Want coffee."

The waiter says,? "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."?

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp,
turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun,
causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere
and then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns.
He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling
another male buffalo with the other.
He walks up to the counter and says to
the waiter

"Want coffee."

The waiter says "Whoa, Tonto!

We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday.

What was all that about, anyway?"

The Indian smiles and proudly says ..

"Training for position in United States Congress:
Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull,
leave mess for others to clean up,
disappear for rest of day."

Finishing up my very small washing this week!! Funny how some weeks it is a lot and some others hardly anything. I can tell that Mike has not done many jobs because there is really not much of his things in there.

He is out now putting in a fan for one of our neighbors!! He had a job this morning too!! That is a lot for one day..did not used to be that way but since Christmas it has been!! We just keep trusting that God will send us jobs!! AND SOON!!

Take care...Hope your Monday is a happy one!!

Thought for the day: "Give your spirit a change of scenery...pray" I heard that on radio this morning and stopped to write it down..GREAT!! I think I am off to do that now!!

LOL oh my goodness, now that is a good joke!!! hehe I know what you mean about some weeks hardly having any laundry and others having lots...I swear at times mine multiplies while just sitting there waiting to be washed! lol

Glad to hear that Mike has had a few jobs to do lately and my prayers continue that he will something permanent soon!! In these rough economic times, it makes you wonder how people will manage!!

We're actually getting sunshine today although it's very cold. I was out to get some errands done and it felt so good to be out. Just wish I didn't have to see all that snow, though! lol xoxo

Sandy,

Loved the joke. It also sounds like the Canadian politicians. They do exactly the same thing. LOL

I'm sorry that you and Mike are struggling. We are as well. My best paying writing job has been terminated because of the economy. I'm hoping the website can continue and that one day I will be writing for them again. Loss of income makes things difficult.

Thanks for your comments on my post about Brandon's trip. He did a great job.

Blessings,
Mary

The joke is too close to the truth to be FUNNY!! Sadly, it's been that way for decades!!!
Praying that God supplies your needs today!!

What a good post. God never comes in a hurry but he ALWAYS comes in time. Hang in there because God knows exactly where you and your husband are.
