SUNDAY REVIEW

This has been an eye opening week, a tired week and a busy week. Sound familiar? Probably about like yours too, Right? This week I finally found out just WHY I am so very very tired!! Since May i have been so tired and seem to require a nap every day. I really hate wasting my time taking a nap but I just cannot keep my eyes open. I had another blood test and it came back this week. My thyroid is down one panel. I am not sure what that means but i know that is what is making me tired. My parents both have the same problem. I have been tested for this since I was in my 30's so now it has caught up with me!! I am now on medication. I just wish it would take hold quickly and get this tired feeling GONE!! I wish that I could get a BIG shot of energy somehow!! I am just happy that I flunked this test so that I now know why I feel so lousy!!

Last night my parents were baptized in Illinois!! I have been praying for this for years and years now. I would have LOVED to have been there to have been a witness but living 1000 miles away I just could not go. I was there in Spirit though. I did get some pictures today. Thanks to this wonderful technology that we have today!! I am so happy for them. They are 83 and 89 now!! God is good and is still in the miracle working business!! You are never too old and it is never too late for any one!! (Col: 2:12 "having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God,who raised him from the dead.")

I also signed up a lady for CURVES this week!! I had never done it before! She just walked in and asked to join CURVES and I just pretended like I was all-knowing and signed her up!! My insides were just quaking but she is coming now and going to lose that weight just like she wants!! I was so proud of myself!! Sorry but pride just slipped in there!! I was all alone and well I guess it is best to learn like that!! I am loving my job. Just wish that I had more hours!! Oh, I forgot...I also got my first paycheck too. I have used it to fix up out guest bedroom for some nice ladies that we all know that are coming in October to our home!! It is all painted now and looks quite nice!!

Hope your week was great and that this coming week will be good for everyone!! Tomorrow night we have a fun night at our church. Our ladies group is having a Gaudy Gala night. You are supposed to dress up as GAUDY as possible!! I have an outfit all figured out!! YES there will be pictures!! SMILE!!

And CONGRATULATIONS on your first sign-up! YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!! And don't worry about THAT pride thing -- Pastor Paul just preached on "pride" last weekend - and that is NOT the kind of pride you have to be concerned about! That kind is good and fine! Just don't allow any FOOLISH pride to sneak in!!! :)

Glad you found out about your thyroid too... I wish that was what was making ME tired! LOL! Hope your meds kick in sOOn!

Oh, praise the Lord, praise the Lord! The angels are singing! My parents were "late bloomers," too. But what a relief for the praying offspring! mmm-hmmm!
GLad you got the diagnosis and it is something simple to fix, apparently.
Wish you worked at MY Curves! Boy, oh, boy, what fun that would be!
Blessings!

Wow! YOur parents baptism is big news! That must feel amazing...now you will all get to be together in our Heavenly Home! Sweet! Well, I'm sorry about the thyroid but at least you found out an answer and there is a pill for it! With fibromyalgia the exhaustion continues and no 'pill' in sight! Okay, now I'm dying to see the 'gaudy' people! I confess I think those red-hat purple clad ladies are gaudy, but that could get me killed. And thanks for cracking up over my football post! I just don't GET that game and you made me laugh with your enthusiastic agreement!
