Appetizer
What was one of the fashion fads when you were a teenager?

I had to go get my scrapbook out and look...long time ago. But I do now remember the angora sweater sets that matched the skirts because I never had one. The girls that had the money had them. I was a farmers daughter and we could not afford them. The big coats with the animal collars too. Some of the girls had the beehive hairdos also. I was fortunate. My mother made a lot of my clothes.

Soup
Name one thing you think people assume about you when they first meet you?

I really have never thought about it because "what you see if what you get"...mostly!! I am what I am!! There is nothing "pretend" about me at all...just ask my hubby...He will tell you...or ask my friends..they will tell you that also. I am just me. I try to be honest and upfront with everyone!! I love having friends and I am just ME!!!

Salad
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how hard do you work?

I have always been a 10 when it comes to working!! Now that I am getting older I find that work will always be there and that stressing over it is SILLY!!! Things are done like they used to be. My house is not as immaculate like it once was...but who is giving out awards anyway?? NO ONE!! So why STRESS about it!!??? I am letting myself have more fun!!

Main Course
If you were given a free 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl to sell anything you currently own, what would you advertise?

I guess my hubby's corvette...we NEED to sell it SOON!!!

Dessert
Fill in the blank: I love to __sleep______ when it is __raining_______.

You definately ARE just you! And YOU are fabulous! :) I gotta tell ya though -- I am SO glad that (young) I did not grow up having to wear a beehive hairdo! LOL! The sweater sets sound nice though! And Sandy... I'm betting that corvette will sell! They are an INVESTMENT! (I didn't know you had one! What year?)

Good Morning Sandy,
I did not do the Friday Feast today.I did our Anniversary. On the fashion fads : I love to wear mini- skirts back then.I remember wearing a white Dickey on the neck of my sweaters, it looked you had a shirt under it.I hated to wear sweaters, my BOOBS were too BIG.!!! Glad I had a Breast reduction 5 years ago.
Have a great day.I went to Curves, after you were there , this morning. Sorry!! I missed you.

I love the answer, "what you see is what you get", because that is me exactly. I really enjoy being around people that are like that. Go Girl!

That was fun! I never had the matching skirts and sweaters either. Usually only the well to-do girls enjoyed those. Still, life was happy..my friend and I used to skip the bus ride home from school and walk the whole way...It took us about an hour..laughing our heads off. We then used the busfare to stop at the bakery...yum, those were the days when I could enjoy pastry stuffed with whipped creme. Not any more...=)
