Saturday Scavenger Hunt

The word for today is THANKFUL!! I am very thankful for my family!! We are really nothing without them!! This was taken at my dad's 90th birthday!!

Tonight we have something wonderful that is planned to happen. Our youngest granddaughter, Madison (she is in the front row second from the right) will be getting baptized tonight!! YES!! We have 4 grandchildren that have accepted Jesus into their life and hearts now!! I am so happy!! Makes this day a very very good one. She says she is a little nervous. I asked her why..she said because everyone will be looking at me!! Well that is what happens...But they will all be happy for her!! I hope that we get a front row seat so that we can take pictures...Grandmas have to have those.

Today we went to see Garrett race in his Cub Scouts pinewood derby!! He came in 1st in one race and second in another but in the end he did not make the top 5!! It was fun to watch. Mike was proud of their car. He helped Garrett make it...He already says that he has to make it go faster next year...smile!!

This is a beautiful day today...72 this afternoon but it seems to be getting cloudy! Just about time to get outside and start raking and putting new pine straw down and cleaning out the flower beds.

Oh we had a young couple stop by yesterday to look at our home. I don't know what is going to happen, of course, but the good thing was that the woman liked the house and the guy liked the garage..Always a good thing..so we shall see...We have no place to go of course but we will cross that bridge when we get to it!!

About time for church in a little while!! Will be a great service!!

Flip Flop
Thought for the day: "Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.

Congrats to Madison.

I remember the pine derbys. They were fun to watch. We had a few thunderstorms about today. They say maybe snow flurries in the morning... one day in the mid 70s and the next about 20 degrees cooler. Spring will be here soon and then summer before we know it and we will complain of the heat :-)

Blessing to Maddie on her special day - and ever after! What a big and glorious decision for a young lady to make!

I hope that couple come back! A 2nd look is always an excellent sign!
