Show and Tell Friday

This year we did not decorate much at all but this is our little tree!! We have a big gorgeous 6-7 ft tree downstairs that we could put up but I think as we get older the fun that we used to love when we had children, just seems to go away!! Without kids it is just not the same!! We have this small one that has the lights already on it so I put some of my snowman decorations on it. I love Snowmen!! I have way too many!! The majority of them are still packed away.

I have a little bit more decorations on our buffet but that is about it!! I know I sound like a Scrooge this year. We are leaving soon to go to Illinois so really we did not need much this year.

Here are some ornaments on our TREE!!

I had a fun day!! Went out looking for a warm sweater for myself to wear in the COLD weather of the North!! Now you can find some really nice buys out there. Just one conflict..You need money!! Ha!! Money what is that anyway???

I also found a couple of pairs of pants that I also need. Being short I have to hem them and also put some elastic in the waist to make them fit better. I hate having to get my machine out!! Silly me!!

More pretty weather here!! I just love December weather like this. Hopefully I can be prepared for that cold, skin bitting weather in Illinois!!

More tree decorations

Hope all is well in your world today!! Busy ness seems to be the way things are going right now!! Hopefully everyone is ready for the big holiday...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I like your little tree. Have you seen mine yet? I have my grandchildren do the work--lucky, huh?

Busy is true! I have all my shopping done though -- except for our "special family" - I'm going to start that this weekend!

I've heard of money, too, but have yet to see it...heheh.

Your little tree is cute and I know what you mean, I know longer have a big one since the girls are married with their own families. Seems pointless, but I do have my little one and I actually put it up and decorated it yesterday.

Good luck with your shopping for the colder weather. I'll stay in the heat and steamy humidity, thanks.

Hi Sandy, my Christmas tree is smaller than yours!! I enjoy the big trees at my daughter's house in Atlanta..Julie's tree is 11 feet tall and Bonnie's tree is 7 feet tall..I will post their trees later..Fred and I are going shopping and I hope to finish!! This year I have had a hard time shopping with cutting back!!

Have a fun day with hubby..
Hugs, Baba

Well if I did have money, it's all gone now since I've finished my Christmas shopping! lol I love your tree, Sandy, and the decorations are so darling. Big or small, loaded or just a few decorations doesn't matter, all Christmas trees are beautiful because of their meaning:-)

I'm 5'3" so I know what you mean about having to hem pants, I always have to do that any time I buy some. Hopefully it won't be as cold as it is here when you go up north...we've been stuck with frigid temps the last couple of weeks. It's 1F here as I type this! xoxo
