Peggy played a letter game and I requested a letter from her so I could play. She gave me the letter "F". I have to write 10 things in my life that start with the letter F. If you would like to play leave a comment and I will give you a letter. Sound fun..I thought goes...

1. FUN: I love it!! Whenever I can get it i am for it!! Lately I have not been having much of it but maybe someday it will return!!
2. FRIENDS: The best of all things in my life!! You blogging friends have so helped me these past few days and weeks with your kind thoughts and all of those prayers that I have been feeling!! What would this world be with our friends!!
3. FAMILY: Right up there with friends!! I love love love my family!! They are what I am!! They are my legacy in this small world. They will be the ones that carry on whatever I leave behind...
4. FALL: I have decided that this is the best of all the seasons!! I love the decorations that go with it..the colors..the smell and just the time of the year!!
5. FARM: I grew up on a farm. I am a farmers daughter from Illinois. Dad had corn and beans; chickens (that I hated); sheep one time also pigs. My brother and I had a great time growing up on the farm.
6. FLEXIBLE: Since going to Curves i can bend so much better and I intend on keeping it up. I even surprised my neurologist at how well I can bend and touch the floor...
7. FOOTBALL: I have absolutely NO IDEA why people watch this silly game. Everyone fights over a little ball and then when one finally gets the poor ball then everyone just jumps on top of him...Crazy...
8. FRIENDLY: I have always been very friendly. My mother tells me stories about when I was little she would loose track of me and I would be talking to the worst looking dirty person..having a great conversation!! Yeap that is me. i can still strike up a conversation standing in line with someone I have no idea who they are!!
9. FLIRTING: My boyfriend...hubby now used to tell me that i was a FLIRT!! I never thought so...WHY I was just being friendly!! Smile!!
10. FREE: I feel so privileged to live in this wonderful country where I am a free do as I come and worship where I want!! How fortunate we are!!

Doing good today!! We will be getting ready to head to Illinois in just a little bit!! I do not have many gifts bought but well maybe we will just be the GIFTS to our family!! Great idea!!

Remember Mrs. B??? Well my good friend Tootsie is watching her now. She insists that Tootsie's name is Isabel!! So Tootsie says that she is now Isabel!! She says they sing all of the time and Tootsie (being the good cook) makes her lunch!! I know Mrs. B is loving that because she does love to eat!! Tootsie told me that she made her a cup of hot tea..Mrs. B said she needed ice in it. By the time Tootsie got turned around Mrs. B had a scoop of ice cream in that cup and some applesauce!! Sounds familiar. Tootsie told me that Mrs. B's daughter is trying to find a good nursing home for her. I so hate this...but

Well hope your day is great!! Beautiful weather here...63 now at a little after noon time!!

Thought for the day: "

"Life's blessings are abundant when each and every one is not only counted, but cherished."

I love your "F" list. I hope blogging helps you to feel better especially knowing you are loved and prayed for. I hope your pain is better!

Your "F" list is great -- but having completed the Alphabet version of Thursday Thirteen, I don't care to ever do another letter AGAIN I don't think! LOL!

You guys are leaving for Illinois already? I didn't know you were going so soon! Well, you will be prayed up for safe travels -- and I hope you and your back do okay on that long ride!

I'm sure Mrs. B's daughter is not making this decision lightly. There will come a time when we will have to make it too... and let me tell you something... GOOD homes around here are few and far between. And most have at least a 3 year waiting list.

Remind me after the holidays and I'll do this meme. I just did a different one a little earlier.

So what day are you heading to IL? I'm going to email you my phone number, so if you come thru Hurricane, please give me a call.

You really came up with some terrific words starting with the letter F!! I'm like you, I'll never understand football and have no idea why anyone would watch it! lol Friends and blessed we are:-)

Glad to hear that Mrs. B is being well taken care of. Made me smile thinking of her putting ice cream and applesauce in her tea:-)

Can't believe it's so warm over your's freezing here but at least the sun is shining today!! xoxo

I'm so sorry to hear about Mrs B, bless her heart, making herself a cup of tea. :) Loved your F list, that looked like a lot of work.

What a fun "F" list you've made. So many things that give your pleasant memories.

I'm glad you are feeling a little better. I continue to pray. The parcel still hasn't arrived. Did you send it so it could be tracked?

You are always so positive, Sandy. Your "F" list shows that and so does the previous post. I know how you feel about having to live with the pain. I have to as well, but also my pain is not as bad as yours and therefore is probably easier to cope with. I think you're wonderful to keep so cheerful.

Hi Flo :)
I enjoyed your F list. I am sorry to learn you will have to live with the pain though. It sounds like me. I live with the pain of lupus and fibro, and now with a torn rotator cuff in my right arm that I do not want to have surgery on, because last summer when I had surgery if you remember, I didn't wake up and was on a ventilator for several weeks and ended up on dialysis. I have adrenal insufficiency so the docs say this will happen to me anytime I have surgery, sooo, no surgeries for me. I'll live with it, and my doc with give me a steroid shot to help me out.

I just returned from San Diego being with my sister and my very ill nephew, Eric. Can you come over to my blog and read the last few posts about San Diego and my nephew? He desperately needs all prayers, and if you can add him to your prayers lists or send people over to pray for him I would sure appreciate it. He has a long battle with cancer and is only 22.
