My 1000th POST

FINALLY!! I have reached my 1000th post!! I was going to have this big give-a-way and all but I am having enough problems just taking care of me right now!! Maybe later on!!

It seems impossible to think that I have written this many posts but blogger says that I have!! MY!! I have made so many many sweet and dear friends through this modern "Pen Pal" approach!!

When I was in high school I had a couple of Pen pals. One was in Germany and one was in Sweden. I always wondered what happened to those two girls. I used to have their letters but i think they are gone now. We had a great time getting to know each other. Now I have you SWEET FRIENDS and have met so many of you!! I would never have thought 3 years ago that I would have had the privilege to meet even Marion in Wales, England!! See I just might meet you Lee-Ann and also you Robyn way over there in Australia someday!! It really blows my mind to think that I now personally know several of you...AND if I could meet the rest of you I know that we would have no problem knowing each other and getting along great!!

For any of you that have not had this awesome privilege of meeting your fellow bloggers then you cannot understand!! Ever one that I have met, I know them instantly and we just click from the first minute!! I can say that some of my BEST FRIENDS are my blogging friends!!

I need to thank Kathy or as you know her..Lazy Daisy for getting me started in this blog business all those 3 years ago. Sometimes or should I say..Many times I have wanted to change my name but Kathy and her Mr. Wonderful gave me this name. Besides I cannot think of anything else...

Thanks again for being there when I needed you and for now. I just re-read your comments from yesterday's post!! They were all so sweet that i am sitting her crying thinking how special they all are.

Back from the doctor again today..yes another doctor!! I was explaining how I have been sick to my stomach and very upset....well guess what I am having panic attacks. I cannot say that I am surprised because I have had it!! She told me that my body is at the breaking point and cannot stand anymore pain!! DUH!! Twelve years of pain!! SURE!! I know that and have known that. I am now back on some anti-depressent to help with my inner pain and also some pain medication to help with the back, hip and leg pain. Hopefully I can get back to me again. My blood pressure was up but that does not surprise me with this pain that I am having!!

I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our youngest daughter right now!! She is a nurse and she has been just the BEST lately!! I have been in tears just thinking WHAT WOULD I do without her calling places that i cannot call and knowing what to do...Guess we did good keeping her in nurses training!! She went with me yesterday to the neurologist and then stepped into his office when we were leaving and thanked him. She is just special...She became a nurse and only God knew that I would be needing her now. Thanks so much Becky!! There are not words that can express just how much I needed her now...God is so good..he figures out everything WAY ahead of time!!

Here's hoping that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I know you will all be busy with your family. We do not have the great get togethers that we used too but that is okay!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Aw, God is good; He knew your daughter would bring you special comfort! Happy 1000! (Don't worry about giveaways.)

Thank goodness your stomach is not your gallbladder like you thought. As far as the antidepressants, I think the world would be a better place if Prozac was in the water supply. LOL

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I am so glad that your daughter can be there to help out AND read through the medical lines.

Congratulations on your 1000th post. I can't even imagine reaching 100. That is quite an accomplishment.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Congratulations on your 1000th posts, dear Sandy:-) It is indeed a blessing that we discovered this blogging world...little did we know so many friends were waiting for us!! I hope we meet one day, how fabulous that would be:-) I've had the privilege of meeting a couple of blogging friends in person and as you say, there's no feeling like it!

I'm so sorry to hear that your pain hasn't lessened at all...panic attacks are no fun either. I had those for many years along with the agoraphobia and wouldn't wish them on anyone. To this day, I'm on medication to alleviate the anxiety/panic attacks. Thank God for your daughter, I can well imagine what a big help she is being to you!!!

Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving...I wish I could cross the border so that I could celebrate it all over again:-) xoxo

1000!!! WOW! Congratulations! I think I've read every one of them!!! (isn't THAT something?!)

I'm so glad your appointment yesterday went well - and I do hope that the meds you got do the trick. Derek has panic attacks - and they are HORRIBLE! He can not be consoled when he's going through one -- and they bring about sO many other issues. If he takes the meds in time though, they take care of it right away and we avoid the whole thing. So, I pray they work well for you too!

Yes, you do have a lot to be thankful for - and I would say your Becky is near the TOP of the list right now! I know God & Mike are at the tip top...

Have a fabulous Thanksgiving Sandy!
Love you!

Sandy,

I just read yesterday's post and wanted you to know that I will be keeping you in my prayers. I'm so glad Denise was able to give you some idea of what to expect, since she has had this procedure done.

Congratulations on the 1000 post. That is a milestone, my friend and you are to be congratulated.

I'm sorry I haven't been to visit and support you more through this difficult time. I'm not sure if you know that Aunt May was in pallative care for about 2 weeks and we were keeping vigil over her. She passed home to God and the celebration of her life was yesterday. She is resting easy with God now.

The little scarecrow lady hasn't arrived yet, but she will, I'm sure. I will let you know exactly when she gets here. It will take about 10 business days from the time you mailed her. We have no mail on Saturday here.

Take care, my friend. I've added your name to my prayer list and will ask God to send His angels to bring you comfort and peace with this situation.

Blessings and hugs,
Mary

Congratulations on the 1000 posts! That is a fantastic milestone. Seeing the number of blogs that have come and gone in the year that I have been blogging, the fact that you've been around for three years is impressive to me! Here's to 1000 more!

Hey there, so glad you are feeling a lot better, makes me feel better just knowing you are better. I guess no matter how old our daughters get, they are still our little gilrs and you being #one born I do worry about you. Just take care try not to worry, God is in control and we both know that. Hopefully after Tuesday we will both be feeling alot better when we find out what we are going to do. Love you and Bless you Mother

I know I've been "scarce" in the comment department lately, but I DO keep up with you in my reader and have been praying with you each step of the way as you've gone through the past few months.

I am so glad that our paths crossed and I am thankful each time you pass along some nugget of wisdom to me as I continue to grow as a wife and a mother.

You're a blessing, Sandy! And, NO WAY, should you change your name cause my boys LOVE to talk about "Flip Flop Floozie" when they talk about my blogging friends.

Hugs,

Susan
