Monday Musings

I really have not felt this way today!! I have had a good day..got up really early 6:30 am and went to Curves at 7:00...I just have to get back because it does help my pain a lot!! Exercise is the way to go..i really HATE exercising and if I said i LIKED it I would really be telling a BIG FAT LIE for sure!! I always feel better. I had to take it easy this morning but it is better than not doing it at all!!

Afterwards I came home and did some Wii bowling, tennis and some Wii FIT too!! I am not going to let this get me down...AT ALL!!

Then off to take care of Mrs. B!! As I said this is my last week!! She was a little upset today..cried some!! I, of course, hated that!! She must have been a very independent lady because she does not even like for you to try to comfort her..She wants to do it all by herself!! We had a little trouble with lunch today. I thought we might have a fire but we got it taken care of in time!!

Good Picture of Mrs. B

I had an orthopedist appointment at 4:15...They took another x-ray but finally I got an injection of cortisone!! Boy the pressure is what really hurts from that. Already my knee feels so much better!! YES!! I wish it was that easy to fix my back!! SMILE!!

Today was our son in law, Roger's birthday!! He said that he is 29 but well I am VERY SURE that is not right!! smile!! We went out to our favorite place to eat..TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!

Now we are back home and trying to relax...hard to do when you pain is screaming at you!! I told hubby that I cannot understand why he cannot hear my back screaming!! It is saying..PAIN...PAIN!! All of the time!! Oh well...

Hopefully everyone had a great day..Tomorrow I go back to sit with Mrs. B then I have to pick up my grands after school!! They are really good so I am looking forward to having them...They can teach me how to do more things on the Wii Fit!!

FLIP FLOP!!
Thought for the day:

Friends are like angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

You poor thing; I know exactly how you feel. I've had herniated disks. Back pain can actually make you sick to your stomach.

I sure wish there was a quick fix for that bad back. The chronic pain is so tiring.

It will be tough for Mrs. B to find someone as caring as you are. I can imagine how bad you must have felt when she became so sad.

Happy belated birthday to your SIL. 29 again sounds good to me.

I know those shots hurt, had more than my share, but I'm hoping he got it in the right spot and it starts giving you some relief.

Hugs,
Chris

Roger looked well celebrated. Give him a birthday hug from me. Good for you lady bug....I'm glad at least that your knee is better and that you are exercising. Just be careful not to add insult to injury. Gotcha all prayed up. Miss you.

Hi Sandy,

I am so sorry you are having so much pain. That can't be any fun, and I hope you are better soon. I haven't visited anyone for a few days and am trying to catch up today on one of my rare days at home.

Wish I was close so we could just sit and sip our coffee and complain about who feels worse!! lol I'm slowly getting back into the swing of life, but I still don't have all my strength back.

Happy Birthday to Roger!!!

I love your thought for the day!

Good for you for continuing to exercise even though you're in pain. I know it's not easy but imagine how much worse it would be if you just stopped.I have to look into that WII Fit...I hate exercising with a passion but maybe I would get into that:-)

Mrs. B looks to be such a gentle soul. Seeing her all bundled up like that reminds me of my aunt Fabiola who had Dementia before she died. It would be the middle of a hot summer and she would have her winter coat on, 2 or 3 sweaters, mittens, hat, etc, just like Mrs. B! I'm guessing it's all connected to the Dementia?

Hope your week goes well my friend and make sure you take some time for YOU! xoxo

I'm so sorry to hear that you are in so much pain! I'll pray for you. I need to exercise too. I'm always thinking I will...then.

So sorry to hear about your pain, Sandy. Let's hope the exercise (not too hard) works.

That's a nice photo of your Mrs B. Poor soul, I can imagine how she feels being dependent on others after a very independent life.

Take care, Sandy, and don't overdo it.
