Tuesday Thoughts

HELLO

Hello and good morning from sunny and calm Savannah!! It is nice outside today...Oh it is HOT but then it is always HOT here!! smile!!

I have been walking and also to Curves...then off to get my hair cut and am now home doing the washing so that we will have some clean clothes!! If it was up to hubby he would just wear the same ones over and over again!! What is wrong with men? Don't they like fresh smelling clothes? I don't understand!! I always have to go around and look for clothes....am back just remembered that I had forgotten to do that!!

Today our youngest grands started back to school. Madison is in 4th grade now and Garrett in 2nd!! Mommy said that everything went well today. She took them but had to go to work after. I am going to be picking them up. I love the way they do it at their school..You practically have to give blood to pick up the kids...BUT I think it is a very WISE thing that they do. I feel like they are more protected this way. I have a note in my purse just in case I have any problems picking them up...GREAT SECURITY!!

We had a good birthday for hubby yesterday!! It was not much but I think he was thrilled. He never wants anything for his birthday, but I figured that i had to think of something. Recently he was at his favorite baseball game in Chicago..the CUBS!! He had purchased a baseball with all the players names on it. I thought that i would look for those baseball holders. That is what I got him. The kids gave him some new floor mats for his truck. He was happy. Fortunately it does not take MUCH to make him happy. He wanted a chocolate cake with Chocolate icing so I made that for him too. We grilled hamburgers!!

The other day I was in Big Lots with our daughter and her kiddos. Garret was acting his funny self so always being ready with my camera I got this shot!! I thought he was funny!!

Garrett acting strange!!

Here's hoping that we all stay safe this week. Especially we that live along the East Coast of our great country!!

FLIP FLOP
Thought for the day: "If you're not using your smile, you are like a man with a million dollars in the bank and no check book!" Great advice

Hi. I thought I would stop by for a visit.
I also live in Georgia, about half way between Macon and Augusta.
Maybe Hurricane Hannah will settle down before she heads this way.
I enjoyed my visit here. I found your site through Peggy at Hidden Haven Farm.
Have a great and safe week!
Pam

I agree with the men and clothes thing...except Mr. C drives me crazy when we've just spent a weekend at the lake, and we've been home for 30 mintues and he says "Do I have clean jeans for tomorrow?" UH? When would I have had time to wash clothes? Doh!

Hi, I haven't been out and about in bloggy land for a few days so I didn't get to wish Mike a "Happy Birthday"! It looks like he had a good time last night!
I don't blame you for being a little scarred about Hannah coming your way. I would be too!! Maybe it will not be as bad as they say.
Love and hugs, Grams

Hi Sandy,
I laughed when I read what you said about men and clothes. Bill will put on the same shirt just as soon as I wash it. He never gets tired of wearing the same ones over and over.
guess it's a guy thing!
Our D is in 4th grade too, and our daughter teaches 4th. Should be a fun year for them. That security is a very good thing for the schools!
hugs))

I think every woman in the world would agree you regarding men and clean (or dirty) clothes, Sandy. Beats me!

Love the picture of Garrett...cute!
