Saturday Photo Hunt

Today's word is VIEW!! This is the view that i saw Thursday from the window in our bible study at our church!! We have a gorgeous lake right outside. I thought this looked so inviting that I would use it for today's picture!!

Last night we went to our church taking Madison along!! The youth group put on a play called, "Miss Persia"!! They did the BEST JOB as they always do. It is of course the story of Esther told in a slightly different way!! Musical!! We all enjoyed it!! It was over 2 hours long but well worth it for sure.

Madison stayed the night with us because her brother and mommy were at the Cub Scouts having a camp over in the woods. For some reason, Madison thought it might be more fun staying with us!! Hm!!

We got up this morning and had french toast...she did with whipped cream. I tell you these kids would eat anything IF it only has whipped cream on it!! Who can blame them!!

Have a great Saturday!! Beautiful here so far..

That is a lovely view!! Not much happening here today. I'm meeting a friend later at the movie theater.

That is a great view! I'm not sure I'd want it out my Bible Study window though -- I'm given to daydreaming you know... A view like that could take me far away! LOL!

SO glad you guys had a good time and the play was well done! I'd love to have seen it! My kids discovered whipped cream on DOUGHNUTS while we were on vacation in Disney World one year! Talk about a sugar high! But I guess whipped cream is no worse than syrup -- I LOVE my syrup!!! LOL!

Hi Sandy, what a great week-end to have Madison over at your house and hang out together..the view of the lake looks better when I enlarged it and it shows up the two colors of blue...me and blue!!!

At Savannah Mall outside , there is a huge yard sale going on , if you want to take Madison...

Enjoy the rest of your week-end.
Hugs, Barb

Sounds like fun. Charlie made Suzy French Toast yesterday....the things a daddy will do for his baby girl. We are loving on Oscar...he seems to change overnight. Who knew I still remembered how to cook?

If I was in church with that lovely view, I'd be looking at that than listening to what was being said!

Kids have cast iron stomachs, I've found. If I tried eating anything like that, I'd be suffering heartburn like mad.

I so agree with your saying, Children and grandparents are natural allies...no, the generation gap doesn't exist with those two age groups, I've found.

By the way, love the very cheerful new header, Sandy.

A church with a view! Singing on the grounds! Praying in the grass.... Talking and laughing with the Lord under the trees!

Oh the goodness of our Lord!

I love french toast! It is just too much for my fussy stomach.........

Blessing to you today my friend...

And one day I pray that I will have a grandchild to be allied with !

Sandy,

The view is lovely from your church. It looks so tranquil and inviting.

Yes, grandparent and grandkids certainly are allies. Enjoyed that thought.

Hope all is well with you.
Blessings,
Mary

PS. Love the scarecrow on your header.

Sandy,

I just looked up Weller Pottery and here is the link.
http://www.artpotteryblog.com/art_pottery_blog/2006/12/weller_pottery_.html

It looks like your vase was made sometime between 1896 and 1924. Of course I don't know what the bottom of it looks like, I'm just guessing because you said all it says is Weller. Check it out. When I did the Google search, a lot came up about Weller.

Hope this helps.
Blessings,
Mary

That's a peaceful view from any place but especially from a church where everything is supposed to be peaceful and serene.

Thank you for your prayers for Sandy.. I spoke with Sandy and I told her that there are many beautiful ladies praying for her.. She is in good spirits, her husband is not doing as well as she is.. I spoke with him and he has to take the baby home today..... New Father with new baby and wife facing open heart surgery is a tough pill to swallow........ Remember David when you pray.....

What pattern is your shawl? Just wondering...there are so many beautiful patterns. I tend to stick to simple things...my guage is always a little bit off. Hope you've had a nice day. I'm going to knit a few rows on my shoulder shawl before bedtime. I just hope it lays well, when its all finished!
