Hello out there!! This is my 925th post!! I had never looked much to see where I was at but finally did. I figured that one of these days i will be getting close to that 1000 mark!! Does not take long!!

I am about BLANK today..mentally that is!! I got up early and went over to stay with my grands again!! Garrett was his wonderful onery self!! Finally after getting mad, making him pick up his messes and cleaning up his room, I loaded them up and we went to get some lunch!!

Now we are here at my home!! It is tremendously hot outside today!! WHEW!! I don't know how kids manage to play outside in weather like this but somehow they do. Right now everyone is quiet and happy in the dining room!! WHEW!! I love QUIET!!

Both Mommy and Daddy are working today!! Tonight is the start of our first Wednesday night bible study at our church!! For some reason they stop it through the summer time and then start again after school starts. Course our Chatham County schools do not begin until next week. I am glad to get back in the swing of it. It is hard, I will admit, to get back to going in the evenings. Hubby is always so very tired but we really do enjoy it.

This year we have Bob Russell who will be speaking on Matthew!! I have heard that he is great so we shall see!!

I have been scrapping all week trying to work on our youngest daughter's books. I am finally past her kindergarten graduation. Yeap, I have a LONG ways to go plus i have several other books that I should be doing..but alas I am only ONE!!

I had a good WW this week. i am going to post it anyway. Our son in California went to a rodeo. He and his girl friend go every year. This year he got a new camera so was having fun taking pics.
I just thought that he captured some good ones!! I have never been to a rodeo but it looks like fun!! They both enjoy it every year!!

Not much else to report!! All is well here as long as Garrett is good..then all is well!! for Sure!!

FLIP FLOP
Thought for the day: "Children are like canoes, they behave best when paddled from the rear." Amen to that!!

But Gma! Garrett's a BOY! He can't BE good ALL the time! He just can't.

I've always wanted to go to a rodeo too! A REAL rodeo! THIS one looks about as REAL as they get! YAY!

Oh! Our church ends all Sunday school AND Bible studies through the summer - just because people's schedules are so crazy and hectic... but my MONDAY night group - we vote! And none of us EVER wants to stop! So we meet all summer long - and I am SO glad we do!

You'll hit 1000 before the end of the year! I haven't done a WW for weeks because I can't find anything that grabs me.

I know the grands can wear you out. I think that is why God, in all his wisdom, cut off our reproduction at an early age.

We finally got rain last night and it has drizzled most of the day. The rain cooled things off too. I've so enjoyed today. Have a good evening.

I know a Bob Russell or at least know who he is. Does he preach in Indiana?
I went to quite a few rodeos back in the 1950s. This brings back memories.
Hugs,
Charlotte

I've never been to a rodeo either, but it looks and sounds like it would be something I would enjoy.

Have a good rest of the week, Sandy

Congratulations on all that blogging, Sandy. You've had some lovely posts in the time I've been coming to visit you.

Now, I look forward to even more from you.

Great rodeo pics, too.

I think rodeos are a lot of fun, despite the heat and dirt. The Days of 1876 rodeo here is a big deal...Huge... a pro-rodeo thing.

So, you are home comfy in air-conditioning. As it should be. I debated turning on the heater this week but I didn't. It has been in the 60's and 70's... a bit too cool for August. Maybe we'll have summer in February next year. You never know! Ha!

The rodeo does look like a lot of fun, well, if you're the spectator! The heat is hard to take isn't it. Yet, I miss it when it gets cool like today. I like to keep anon on my blog thats why no pictures of me and yes, that is me in the peaches photo. I got to bed late last night and am so groggy today. I might have to take a little nap but thats never as satifying as a good night's sleep in the first place. First to do a couple of more loads of laundry. I hope you are having a serene summer day.
