Wordless Wednesday

Some friendship!!

In other news!! I do have some but cannot share it with you right yet...but I will!! Believe me I am not one to keep secrets but am doing it this week!!

Our son was in on that earthquake in California today!! He said it rocked pretty good. He said he was eating lunch and it shook for about 3-4 minutes. It was a 5.8!! I wish he did not live there!! That place is going to drop in the ocean someday!!

We have had a VERY BUSY day today and will have an even busier one tomorrow. We have to load the motor home and that takes quite a while to do. We have to go to the grocery store too. We are hoping to leave early Thursday AM!! We will meet up with the McCoys and start our long awaited trip to Illinois. We will have the two grand kids because it is easier for them to ride in our motor home than for them to stay in their parent's truck. Hopefully we can keep them happy!! Food will help!! Especially for Garrett!! He seems to eat all of the time.

We have a big schedule once we get to our destination...a family reunion with hubby's side of the family; Dad and Ron's birthday celebration on Sunday; week with our daughter, Julie, Cubs games; trip to Chicago shopping and then my 45th high school reunion. We are going to see tons of people on this trip. So pictures!! YES!! Blogging fodder for sure!!

Hope all is okay with everyone in blogland I am so sorry that I have not been to everyone's site lately. Been hard being so busy!!

FLIP FLOP
Thought for the day: "We know we're getting old when the only thing we want for our birthday is not to be reminded of it."

My daughter called to tell me about the earthquake before I saw it on the news. She was too funny! She was so excited! Her first earthquake! I corrected her and said, well, technically, you were in the October 1st Whittier quake of '87, but you weren't born until the 6th!

Oooh a secret! I love secrets...can't wait to hear yours, Sandy.

Glad your son wasn't injured in the earthquake...one of nature's phenomenons I hate!

Boy, you sure are busy...sounds like you'll be coming home for a rest.

Take care and please drive carefully...I'm sure you will.

Cute pictures, Sandy.

Have a safe and fun trip. I went to my first high school reunion a couple of years ago, and it was fun. I will definitely go to my next one. I hope you enjoy your reunion with school friends.

Don't you worry about not having had time to visit...I think a lot of us are way behind (me included) because we're always so much busier in the summer time. Winter will come soon enough when we're all stuck in our houses and can blog all day long! lol

I can imagine how worried you are about your son living in CA...glad to hear that he was safe after the earthquake they recently had there.

Have a SAFE and FUN trip! Take lots of pictures and we'll see you when you get back:-) xoxo
