The Cleaning Poem and other things

Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work..
I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.

That I got SO way into.
I was into it all night.

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.

I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.

In other things!!

Been painting our bedroom..the last of the rooms to get a paint job!! I had Madison this morning and most of the day!! She is quite the painter. She even helped take off the plug covers with her little rhyme..."righty tighty, lefty loosey". I thought I was the only one that had to say that everytime i get in a situation like that!! We painted and then had lunch. She then went to the computer while I tried to keep going. I CANNOT move our bed or the TV which is a flat screen on the wall so i did what I could for now. Tomorrow I start again. My back is screaming at me!! Oh has anyone ever used KILZ? Boy that stuff is hard (that word is not strong enough) to remove from your hands!! WHEW!! Finally Roger told me to use WD40...the miracle worker!! I now have hands again..flesh colored ones. I had tried alcohol and finger nail polish remover!! What a mess!! Hope it works like it is supposed to do!!
That's about today!! I am enjoying facebook...if you would like to join..it is FREE and you can find a lot of people this way. I have several friends now. Old ones and not so old ones!!

Hi Sandy,

You're smart to do your own painting. I have never tried my hand at that job. Seems like it would be hard to do, but maybe not.

Sounds like you have yourself a little helper at least for today.

Have a good rest of the week.
