Monday Memories

I haven't posted for a while now mostly because of feeling so horrible and tired!! I just cannot think very straight!! I do love Monday Memories though.

I got out a box of pictures this morning that are supposed to be in scrapbooks...smile!! I started going through them. Now with the help of my newly acquired scanner...I can show off some pictures of long ago.

This was not that LONG AGO...1996...although it seems like that to me!! Our daughters and myself decided to go to Peoria in Illinois and have our pictures taken as Christmas gifts for our husbands...plus we thought it would be just plain fun!!

We took off minus children...and headed to the mall!! I remember having a grand time picking out the clothes that we wanted to wear. That was fun!! We could have several outfits!! In the above picture we had the same type of tops on!!

We had our hair done, makeup and all!! A fun day for the girls!! We ate out of course too!! What decent American woman would not eat out after being all prettied up.

The problem was that keeping it a secret did not work!! I think Julie's husband found out first and well from there...you know!!

I still thought it was fun!! We had some good pictures of the way...WE WISH WE LOOKED!!

Thought it would be fun to share this with you today!!

FLIP FLOP!!

Thought for the day: "The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care."

Awww! What a lovely picture! My oldest daughter is coming up next month and we'll be getting family pix done. I think we'll do one of just us girls and then one of 'daddy' and the girls! Thanks for the inspiration! Hope you feel better soon! I have 'tired' issues, too! Ick!

The picture is beautiful. You have some lovely daughters and I am sure that you all still look exactly the same 12 years later! Blessings!

LOL! That's cute! Krysti & I have always talked about going to Glamour Shots and getting that done -- but we can't talk Amanda into going with us! Amanda is NOT a Glam type!!! She even had a fit when I took Luz to a professional photographer to get pictures. She wants all Luz's photos to be NATURAL. Nothing posed. Sooooo... next time I won't SHARE them with her!!! LOL!

oh man. Haven't seen this picture in a LONG time. I remember that day. Yes, my hubby did find out first b/c I had my hair and make up done and I usually didn't wear that much during the day. Ooops:) It was fun though. Will have to do it with the girls sometime. That would be a lot of fun.

I hope you are back to normal soon... it's just no fun when you don't feel 100%

I love your memories photo. Just gorgeous- and it really sounded like a great day for all of you. Y'all look like sisters instead of mother/daughter.

Hi~
I had glamor shot pictures done years ago, when I showed my 10 year old daughter, she asked who that was...she didn't think it was me....LOL

Have a great day,

A beautiful post about 3 beautiful women. What a lovely family you have. That day must have been a treasure. My daughter lives in another state...so I only see her about once every 3 months.

Your girls look so much like you. At first glance I thought this was going to be a picture of sisters.

Sorry you are still feeling tired. Did the doctor tell you how long it would take for you to start feeling normal again?
