Sunday Seven

Hello and Good Morning from the sunny South Eastern United States. I have been outside this morning with my Honey trying to help him get our motor home un-stuck!! It is stuck in the mud from our last big rain. We are leaving this coming Saturday for Illinois IF we get our home out of the mud first. I was telling my Honey that this is kind of funny. If we lived back in Illinois we would be scooping snow to get this out and here he is shoveling black mud!! The snow might be easier to get out of!! Just had to share...Now on to my Sunday Seven!!

  1. I am always a thankful gal especially when I think of several things that have happened this week. I got to go to church Wednesday night (i usually have to work). We had missionaries that were telling about the awful things that have happened to them in Rwanda and other countries just because they believe in our Lord. WE are so blessed here in the USA!! Last night at church we had a great India missionary that our church has sponsored for years. He told some of the most awful stories of the things that have been happening in India and also ones that have happened to him. He has planted 400 churches there now.
  2. I had my 63rd birthday this week and was so happy to be able to realize that God has given me ONE more year to do as I choose. What a blessing he gives to us to choose as we please.
  3. I found out that I have tons of friends. I received so many many cards not to mention the ones over email!! What a wonderful group of friends that I have indeed!! (People LOVE to see me get old...smile!!)
  4. I received gifts from my cousin (which I have already shared). Miss Lazy Daisy sent me the cutest green flip flop bulletin board. I received a heart shaped necklace from my youngest daughter family with a purple stone in it. Again i was just blessed.
  5. I have the BEST husband in the world. Now how many times have you heard me tell you that before? This will not be the LAST time either. My honey is the greatest!! He does so many wonderful and caring things for me. Just his smile is enough for me to keep going every day!!
  6. My family again is the main reason that i think I live sometimes!! What would i do without my family? We are heading back to Illinois this next weekend to see my parents again. I may have some friends coming to visit me that i used to work with too. We then go to our daughters and help get her a different kitchen installed.
  7. We get to bring our oldest granddaughter, Brie back home with us when we return from Illinois. i am going to have to work every day while she is here and that really does upset me...but I am so grateful to be able to spend some quality time with her.

I do hope that the motor home is un-stuck for the big trip. It will be wonderful to visit with family and especially nice to have Brie accompany you back home. Drive safely.

Stopping in for a quick hello. How long will you be in IL? Is your Dad continuing to do ok? Make sure you pack your laptop.

Hi Sandy!!!

Our company finally left yesterday and I'm now trying to catch up on my blogging buddies!!! I love the green flipflop board.

So, you're taking a trip to Illinois? Is this to see how your folks are doing? Or perhaps just a trip for pleasure. Or both!!

I'm thinking by your blog entry I missed your birthday? Did I? All while our company was with us? Dang. Okay then, if I did, I want to send you a belated wish and hope all your dreams came to reality!!!

Hugs.

Hi Sandy, I have the Wii at our house and the key board hooked up and I am out visiting my blogging buddies who I have missed visiting with like crazy!!! Karen let my grand son take the Wii home with him. But it was good for me because I have got caught up on some stuff I needed to in the last few days! I have even read a couple of books since we haven't had the laptop to use for blogging! It has been cold and snowing and we had sleet on Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday it was warm and then snow in the night and then it melted and now they are calling for snow tonight! I will pray that you have a safe trip to IL. I sure hope you have your RV out of the mud by now! You will have to read my new post on all that has been going on over here!! What a mess! But through it all God worked it all out!! I had better go visit some more blog friends while I have the key board hooked up!! love and Hugs Carolyn
