Oh Sandy, that is RICH!!! What a brave heart she was. Love that story...how embarrased she must have been but being 60 & having senior moments myself...I sure can understand. About your knitting...good for you! Its fun, isn't it. And for encouragement have you gone to youtubedotcom? They have all kinds of knitting know-how home video's. I've watched many spinning & some knitting ones. You'll get the hang of purling too. I keep a notebook with my knitting and at the beginning of each row I write down..'start row 6'..or whatever. My memory can have a black-out too fast sometimes. Yesterday I splurged and bought myself a 'denise' interschangeable knitting needles set. I hate never having the right size needles or I have them in straight & I need circulars. Have fun knitting friend! & thanks for the story...I'll be sharing that one with my hubby! Happy Birthday to your beloved Dad too, how precious you still have him. Hope the party is a grand success and he loves it.

That is too funny!! I haven't gone to this extreme but I have many times tried to get into the wrong vehicle. They all look pretty much alike to me these days!

I loved this story! and the final sentence. If you're going to have a senior moment...make it memorable. Great!

Love the story. I can just picture it in my brain and cannot imagine how mortified I would have been had it been me. What a hoot!

Good for that old lady. LOL I loved this. It gave me a good laugh.

About 2 years ago a young punk tried to snatch an old lady's purse near the local library. She had an umbrella and beat the heck out of him with it. The story was in the newspaper and the headline read, "Feisty Senior Fights Back." It was precious.

Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Mary
