Prayer Request ANSWERED!!

The next time that you think that God does not answer "small requests" I hope you will remember this one!!

Sunday when my dad just kind of went out of this world for a day...He tried to get in the wrong car at church which was their pastor's car. He thought that it was his car because they are very close to the same color!!

He evidently put Mother's bible in the back seat of his pastor's car thinking it was his and he also must have leaned into the drivers side.

When everyone saw that he was confused and mixed up of course they got him and took him to the ER at the hospital.

When they got to the hospital they noticed that his right hearing aide was missing!!

Now for the last 4 days we have looked all over trying to find his hearing aide. You see when he does not have it in his ear he hears music and sounds!! I know this sounds strange but the ear doctor said that some people do experience this. It about drives him nuts!! Would me too.

Last night at church we looked all over "once again" trying our hardest to find that little hearing aide. Mother just knew that they were going to have to buy another one and well you know that means MORE money!!

Their pastor and his wife have looked and looked. Today the pastors wife was at school teaching. She had prayed all day to find that hearing aide. When she got off work it was snowing so she had to clean off her car. She was getting in the car and had to move the front drivers seat. When she did she "just happened" to look down after she had moved the seat and SAW...

YEAP...she saw a little round pink thing!! DAD'S hearing aide!! She was so excited because she knew that God had heard her prayers and was answering them!!

She was so happy and so tonight they both came to see us. She gave a little box to Dad!! I knew when she handed him that little box what was in it!! We were all clapping and thrilled to death!! What a blessing!! Now my dad is hearing again and they do not have to buy a new one!! God is good!!

What a blessing!! I just had to share it with you!!

Hello Darling... I saw your picture at my Australian friend's blog and your name was familiar I'm sure I've passed by and maybe even commented before... why you calling yourself a "floozie"~?? You look a very respectable lady to me!
Prayers are always worth offering up as you probably know it's quite surprising when they do get answered...

Catching up with your news...oh Sandy, it is indeed wonderful news to hear that your dad's hearing aid was found!! I can well imagine how excited the pastor's wife was to have found it:-) My prayers are with both your parents...they seem to be having their fair share of health problems:-( Glad your home safe but I don't envy you having had to drive through a snowstorm...that's why I won't travel in the winter time!! I'm too chicken! lol xoxo

Yes, God is so good!! If we don't have faith to realize that we can ask Him for the small things, how then will we learn to trust Him with the big ones??

So happy that prayers were answered.

Hugs,
Hope

If God knows the number of hairs on our heads and when a sparrow falls to the ground, we know we can entrust him with all of our woes, even a missing hearing aid.
I'm so glad it was found.
You are so fortunate to still have your parents! I miss mine so much but I have to remember their mansion was ready and mine's not!
~~~Blessings~~~
