That really does look like a LONG road!! I bet you all were very tired going very far on it!! Oh, Thanks for the card and stickers for Nancy!! She loved them! Hugs Grams
Now... when your page opened ... the song "The Long and Winding Road" started playing in my head. WHY do you suppose that is? There is not a winding thing about that road!!! LOL! It suuuuure is long though!
That reminds me of one of the roads I used to travel when I went ot meet my hubby when he was in the area back when he trucked over the road. I would travel for an hour just to get to him and there wasnt very much in between point A and point B.
I hate to travel long straight roads like the one in the photo. It seems like they go on forever. My area of NC doesn't have many roads like this. We have lots of rolling hills, mountains, and curves- even on the interstate. This makes driving in the snow interesting!
we've been on those long roads too ... years back ... we used to enjoy our winter trips to AZ ... in the days when leo could still tolerate sitting for longer periods of time ... good memories ...
Hi, I'm Gram, and I'm new to blogging. I came across your site and thought you looked and sounded like a friend. I live in GA, too, so we're kind of neighbors. Have you eaten at The Lady and Sons? I'd like to sometime. I have a niece living in Savannah. Maybe I'll get down there sometime. It seems like it would be an interesting place. Gram
I have had my MRS now for 46 years. I am more in love with my husband as the years roll by!! We have three grown children and 7 wonderful grandchildren!! I am a Christian! I love making friends and meeting new people!!

That road makes me think of 79 which runs down through Western Pa. Long indeed. Not to mention terribly boring!

We've traveled a lot of these long roads, too, but enjoyed every minute of it as we love to travel.
Glad you had a safe trip.
Beautiful shot. I think I'd like to do photo hunters, but everyone's pics look so polished and professional.

Hi Sandy,
I love your LONG road picture. It looks like I-95 to me. Is it? I think that is a boring road.
Hope you're feeling a bit better.
