MONDAY MONDAY!!

AND...it is really really foggy outside!! I was going to get up and try to go exercise and see how my knee held up BUT...not until this fog is gone a little!! It is really thick and since I don't HAVE to go out in it...well i am staying right here!!


We have had the "best of weather" here in the South Eastern part of the United States!! This is what we wait for all year long!! Yesterday it got up to 76 or so and was just beautiful!! I know you are all saying but that is not Christmas weather!! I know. It took me a long time to get over that. But when I see the storms and the ice..well I would ope for this real easy!!


Today I go to the orthopedist to see about my knee. I had my MRI this past Friday. It was an OPEN one. I am very claustrophobic and just cannot do those CLOSED ones (without a lot of medication)!! I was so surprised at myself this time. I actually fell asleep during the 30 minute process!! That was an expensive nap to be sure!! They put my MRI on a CD and after I paid they gave it to me to take today!! Some expensive CD!! My appointment is this afternoon. My knee is feeling pretty good so far. Since the cortisone shot I have been doing great!! I know that no one knows how long it will last though. We shall see!!

Hubby and I spent the weekend together!! We watched a couple of movies from Netflix, ran around a little, went to church together, went to a grand opening of a new Lowe's, ate together and well just spent the weekend.... TOGETHER!! I really enjoyed it. It was nothing upsettinly special just normal life...and that is the way I like it.

Thanks everyone for posting such wonderful recipes. I think that I am "baked and cooked out". I did it for so many years that nothing like that even seems appealing to me. I do not have the big dinners like i used to have before we moved so none of that worries me anymore. Besides, it just adds to my weight problem...RIGHT?

I think that we are finally adjusting to having just one kitty now. Annie is quite the loveable cat. I think she might miss Simon but who knows what a cat is thinking. She seems like she is more loveable since he left. I have been trying to clean up after him but it is so hard. I wish I knew what to do to get rid of that awful smell. I used bleach yesterday on the tile downstairs and almost blinded myself doing it. STRONG!! I cleaned carpets but i don't think it worked. We may have to replace them!! UGH!!
