This sounded like fun!! I was over at Hootin' Anni's blog today and she has a game for us to play if we would like....I thought...try it and here are my results..Rules follow below!!

- 30 GIANT STEPS - IN ANY direction. You may have to make a few turns and pivots so you won't run into any walls or such...don't want any injuries today! WARNING: Avoid any obstacles in the way- if there's a door...open it & continue, if there is a wall...pivot AROUND it. You may end up outdoors! Or perhaps if a small apartment....down the hallway....who knows?!! :::thinking::: "Oh gawd, if there's a pool at the end of your thirty steps, I sure as H E double L hope you can swim!!!!"

After the 30 giant steps, Stop!
TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING!!
Then, take 15 baby steps back.
After the 15 baby steps, Stop!
TAKE A PHOTO AND/OR NOTE WHAT YOU'RE SEEING
LOOK in any direction -to your right, left, up [more than likely, not down ---that'd be your feet!!]. What you see is what we get!!
Stop!

I started out of my computer room by taking my 30 GIANT STEPS and saying, "Mother May I'. I ended up in our bedroom after going around the dining room table (glad no one is home to see me doing this)....I ended up right at Annie taking a nap in our bedroom...

I took 15 baby steps backwards and turned around and I was back in the kitchen. This is what I saw!! Kind of fun!!

Cool!! I'm glad you played. I'll add your url as soon as I click publish. Wow, it's amazing isn't it? It's been so warm here [I noticed you fan still out for the season] ---we're still running the air condtioner in the afternoon!

Your kitty is so pretty!

I like your quilt and your cat seems to be enjoying the bed too. Oh what else are cats good for? sleep, eat, play, repeat. We have a peninsula between our kitchen and dining room also. I need me a tv in my kitchen!!! We have satellite tv and I am trying to get my son to go up in the attic and drop me down a connection. He says there's very little room over there in the attic space to walk. I say crawl on over there for your mother.

Miss Annie looks very comfy! Gorgeous apples on your counter! I just popped over from Hootin' Anni's and was reading your sidebar. I love that you are still "desperately" in love with your husband! I bet he is, too!

There aren't many things I like better than a big, fluffy cat! Too bad mine are always hiding from my three year old.

Pet Annie for me, ok?

LOL! I knew you had to do some double'n up SOMEwhere! No WAY it could take 30 (even baby) steps to get from the computer room to your bedroom! LOL! It was a fun little game though, huh?!

So, how'd it go with the Curves Smart stuff?

The quilt reminds me of my grandma. She had quite the collection!

This sounds like fun- wish I had time... and I love your quilt. We haven't needed the quilts much this fall, have we? It is in the 70's again today and we still need rain! I bet it is the same down your way. Have a great day!

Looks like Annie is annoyed from being disturbed!! Are those new pictures of your grandchildren lying on the kitchen counter?

I had to click on the cat to make bigger... her fur was all full of static and she looked so put out at you for catching her in that unlady like pose !!
