Did you ever hear the saying..."NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS"? Well that is about what this day is about in my world!!

I am just very tired and probably will take a nap in a little bit!! As I get older I realize that I need to listen to my body!! It tells me what to do anymore. Have you felt like that. Just a few years back if I thought I was even "thinking' about taking a nap I would talk myself out of it by trying to do anything..keep yourself busy was always my inner talk!! Now I have found out that was then and this is now!! SMILE!! I am learning to listen to my body when it says..."I am tired..take care of me!"

I have this whole house that needs some sweeping, dusting and you know that sort of stuff done to it!! I have a hubby to feed tonight!! I should take advantage of my day at home!! Hm!! Guess old age is really slipping up on me!!

Today is our son's 43rd birthday!! Jon was quite the hand full as a young child. Once he got through that he has been almost a perfect son!! He lives out in California. He has a good career and has a sweet cat that has been with him for some time now. OUR "other granddaughter" BOOTS!! I found this picture of our son looking at the scrapbook that i made for him. I took all of his pictures and complied them for him!! I hope that one day he will appreciate this!!
Every year that he has a birthday it just seems to remind me of my age!! CRAZY !! Yes i know but it does!!

HAPPY TUESDAY TO EVERYONE IN BLOGLAND!!

Yes indeed! I know about NAPS! I looooove my naps! I don't like that they seem to take so many hours out of my day ... but I love the extra sleep! I do think though that if my hubs didn't snore, I might not NEED naps! LOL!

I'm curious about your new SMART Curves girl! No one at MY Curves knows anything about it... You'll need to fill me in!

Enjoy your time at home. Power napping is really an in thing now. Happy Birthday Jon....How is it that our kids keep getting older and we never change?

Jon is a handsome young man!! I've never been a napper. If I do fall asleep I wake with a terrible headache. Better for me to stay awake and go to bed early. I envy those that can nap.

Sandy, I have always been able to take a nap and still sleep at night. My mom at 85 never takes a nap, even if you has only slept for a few hours..I think she is afraid she would miss something....Wishing a happy birthday to Jon...and many more. My mom and I have been out shopping today..I have not joined Smart Curves yet. Barb

If I nap during the day, I'm wide awake, still reading at midnight. And it's a nasty habit of mine to get up at 5 a.m. for the peace and quiet I get before hubby gets up.

Hope your son had a special birthday.

GET REST Sandy.

Well, Happy Birthday to your son... and I agree- take a nap. I am glad you have the time to listen to your body and just take a nap. We could all learn a lesson from that!

Happy Birthday to your son. Hope he had a good day.
Yes Ive noticed that I have been needing a nap more and more often that I would care to admit. At first I thought it was the new meds but realised I was just tired and more worn out than I used to be after doing household chores. Guess the dust can wait another day.

Ohhh Sandy! I just read about your two-day headache over on Jen's page. I'm sO sorry! I wish I'd known... I would have prayed for you. (not that I don't pray for you anyway... but you know - I'd have prayed specific!) I'm glad you're feeling better now though! (((Hugs)))

Happy Birthday to Jon! I would love to be 43 again...lol!

I know what you mean about having a nap...I had one today and I wasn't even up as early as I usually am. Never mind, I enjoyed it...the nap, that is.

Take care.

Sandy,

Yes, as our children age, we wonder where the years went. I too am tempted to take naps, but then I know that if I do there will be little sleep that night, so try to keep myself busy.

I enjoyed my visit, as always. Hope Jon had a great birthday.

Blessings,
Mary

It does seem so strange when our kids were older. My eldest turned 27 in September and it seemed so strange. She still seems like a baby at times.

Hugs!
