If I'm not mistaken, those are the curlers they used to give perms? I always said they look more like something out of a torture chamber! lol Happy Halloween to you too dear Sandy! xoxo

I had one these perms when I was younger. My grandmother and her beauty operator(what they called them back then)give me one. I remember them having to hold really still or OUCH!!! It was torture. I was 10 or 12...

Yea... I WAS gonna guess a broken chandelier! LOL! I NEVER would have guessed curlers!

Did you knock on all my doors? Did you get your treats? HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I would rather vote for wine corks than curlers. It's nicer to have tasted all this wine than having curlers on you head, lol !
I invite you to my virtual Halloween party, Halloween is not celebrated here in Belgium so I did my best on my blog !

I wonder how many dear ladies got an electric shock! from this contraption......your grandmothers were very brave using this :)

I have enjoyed very much reading your past (missed by me)posts this morning Sandy and hope the fires missed your son and that they have now stopped taking more homes and precious lives.

Blessings to a lovely lady (you!)

I scrolled down deliberately so I wouldn't see the other answers. I believe it is an antique perm machine.

Happy Halloween.
