Saturday's Women.............

We are on our way home!! YES!! I am so tired but so happy with the events of the past 48 hours!! WE have been able to see people that we have not seen in years!! We have been able to hug, cry and love on those that we love, are related too and who knows...may never see again in this life!! Family is so important to me...always has been...always will be!! This picture is of the women in the family that we were celebrating on Saturday!! We only had 1 day...YEAP only 12 hours actually maybe less than that once everyone got there to really talk, hug, hold, look at and actually realize that they were there all at the very same time. Some of the people you just wanted to touch again and again to make sure they were really there and you were not just dreaming...FAMILY!! What a wonderful experience!!
Today we were on the road heading back to HOME!! Again another wonderful thing in our world..HOME!! We had a call from our friend that has been checking our home. He did not have the greatest news for us. First he told us it was 100 there and the next thing was that our A/C is going out. In the South and I guess in other parts of the US you have to buy Heat pumps. That means an A/C inside and outside...since I am not good at explaining..that is close...or another way of saying all of this...EXPENSIVE!! Either we sweat to death or we find a BUNCH of money. We knew this was going to happen but were praying it would not happen this soon!! Oh well...either now or later!!
WE are about 6 hours away from home now!! WE are in a beautiful campground tonight. Beautiful place and comfortable...Wireless as you can see and even cable TV...rough camping...ha!!
I am feeling better but still not completely over whatever I had. My eyes are still giving me problems. Thanks for everyone that have been visiting. I will try to get around to everyone once I get home and things get back to normal..((smile))..

Take care and hope your weekend was great

Wow, sounds like you had a wonderful time, Sandy.

Thank you so much for your kind comment on my loss of Oscar. Don't worry, you won't lose me. I've closed the Oscar's Chair blog down, but still post on the Kat's Cradle blog.

Take care and I hope your air conditioner doesn't cost you too much to get repaired.

Hugs

Oh boy... if it's not one thing, it's another! Sorry to hear about the AC! That IS a major expense! We had to replace both of our units 2 years ago... I hope we don't have to do that AGAIN for anothe 20 years!!! (unfortunately, these will probably NOT last 20 years! they keep getting cheaper and cheaper - made!) Well, maybe you guys can just stay in your camper until you get it fixed! That's probably no better than the hot house, huh? How are the kitties making out in that heat?

Sandy - I thought the same thing about Pastor Paul when I met him! I had HEARD his sermon's on-line, and I pictured him as a BIG ROBUST man! He certainly speaks like a big ROBUST man! I was shocked when I found this skinny skinny thing was my pastor! But no matter! I LOVE HIM!!!

Have a great week...and I hope the AC thing gets fixed quickly.

So glad you had a wonderful time with your family! It really doesn't get any better then when the family can all be together! I am new to this blogging, but you have been a real life line for me this winter and spring! I have a special needs daughter who will be 45 the 25th of this month. She also has lupus really bad....
so I have been shut in a lot and your blog and others have really helped me when I couldn't get out and about! I hope you can get the AC fixed without too much trouble!

Thanks for your encouraging words! I am going to learn how to do all this stuff. I do enjoy blogging and meeting all my new friends! They have made me feel welcome to blogging! If your Mother can do this at 83 you would think I could at 68! Sure going to try!
Did they get the AC installed ?
I sure hope so

Hi Sandy. It's nice to see the lovely ladies in your family. I'm so happy that you had a wonderful family reunion. I'm sure you're going home with many wonderful memories that you can cherish.

Sorry to hear about the A/C. Hope something can be done about it without incurring too much cost. Take care!
