ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!

In the morning, we are taking off again only this time we are going to Illinois. Two or our granddaughters will be graduating. One is graduating from eighth grade and one from high school. Do I look old enough to have a granddaughter that will be off to college soon??? Yeap I am!!

As always my laptop is going with me in our motorhome. If you look closely you can see the reflection of our little windmill on the side of our RV. I thought that was kind of neat. The sun was shining just right when I saw it and I ran inside and grabbed my camera. I hope you are able to see it.

We are all loaded up and are ready to go. Tonight I have to see the finale of "Lost" and have already had some answers to questions that I was wondering about!! Why do I get myself wrapped up in these TV shows?? Hm...

Oh, and our cat...SIMON...He does not have a UTI...just like I thought it is all behavior!! We are hoping this new Feliway diffisor thingy helps. I really hate leaving now but we have a great lady that stops in to watch him and Annie. Annie is such a sweet heart!! But OH that Simon...!!!

Have a wonderful night!! I will keep you posted on our travels and fun with our family.

Sandy,
Yes, we are so blessed with our grandchildren.....Your granddaughter sounds like a sweet person....congratulations to both your grandchildren..

Talking about cats.....Our Ling-Ling several years ago had to go to the vet. He was about a goner. After a week in the hospital, we went to pick him up. Two vets, consulted with us, gave us his UTI diet prescription, and then the BILL. My husband looked a little white. The receptionist asked if he needed anything. He said a dose of amonia. $500.00.

LingLing is still on the UTI food and our neighbor's cats eat with us so I guess their urinary tracts are in good shape, too.

Oh well, we love Ling Ling and his sister, Sister..

Have a safe trip. Betty

Hi Sandy,...Have a safe and fun time on the road. The gas prices in Detroit were $3.39 a gal.for regular. and today in west Va. are $3.21/gal.We are on the road headed down south. We are spending the night in Beckley,WV. at a Marriott-Courtyard...Tomorrow we go to Lebanon,Va. to visit a niece;then over to a place in N.C. to spend one night on a river.
Back to Julie's in Atlanta on Friday and back home on Sunday.

No way, you surely do not look like a grandmother with college age grandchildren. You are young at heart and that's what matters. Enjoy your trip!

Aren't laptops wonderful? question though -- how do you get internet service when you are out on the road like that? I'm learning, bit by bit, a little bit about Wifi...but still want to know more.

Enjoy your trip -- your visits, and be safe. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Hey, Flippy! RV'ing across country sounds wonderful to me! Especially since you have a laptop! Can't leave behind the internet! Too bad the cat can't travel with you but I know that's not possible! I posted a quick response about the happiness/meaning dilemna you mentioned! I actually agree with you on having a meaningful life MAKES you happy. I think I should re-write it to make more sense! Have fun! I lived in Indiana all my life so Illinois is right next door.

Nice RV. Have lots of fun and hope you enjoy the grads. My youngest grad's from grade 12 on June 5...can't believe it! Then he's off to college in September so I'll have 2 in post secondary.
