Spring is here??? Hm!! Well it was for a long time then it left and winter came back to Savannah!! We have had freezing one night and much to my hubby's dislike....we HAD to turn the furnace on...OH!! You DO NOT know how much he does not like that!! It GOT COLD!! This week we are "supposed" to get back to Savannah weather!! The azaleas, dogwood and wisteria are all out. I am sure they are wondering just what is going on!!

My Monday Memory this week is that I am celebrating another anniversary of sorts!! Yesterday was my OFFICALLY TWO YEAR anniversary at CURVES!! When my neighbor Tootsie and I signed up 2 years ago, I really never invisioned myself staying this long. I have so enjoyed going and losing this weight that now I find myself 2 years down the road and STILL with Curves!! What a wonder to me!!

I have learned a few things from joining Curves. First, I learned that I needed to get my bottom up from the computer and get myself moving again. I was becoming too set...too sedimentary!! Too couch potatoeeeee!! Once I picked myself up and got moving again my body responded with weight loss and inches being dropped...Sure it took some time. It did not come off just LIKE THAT!! After all it took some TIME for me to put it on...RIGHT!! So it was going to take some TIME for me to TAKE IT ALL OFF too!! I did not start losing anything from April till October of that first year. That takes a lot of patience for me to wait until I started to see some results.

What kept me there?....The good friends that I have made!! The fellowship there is great!! The ladies that I have met are just grand!! I would not trade their friendship for anything. Just like my blogging world friendships I also have Curves friendships. When you are down, they keep you up, when you lose everyone is so happy and thrilled for your loss!! We all try to help each other. (sounds like blogging right??)

I have also learned that now my balance that was slowing leaving me at 62 is now back. I don't feel like I am about to fall over at times. I hated that feeling because it made me realize that I was GETTING older. Anything that you can do to help that feeling is a good thing!!

My MOnday Memory for today is losing that 30 plus pounds that I have lost. I am praying that I never see it again!! I seem to be STUCK now, but maybe this is where my body wants to stay!! Who knows. I feel good!! The pain that I was experiencing in my legs and lower back stay away longer now also. I am in a better size that I was before...much better!! Sure, like any woman I would love to lose about 25 more lbs. but what IF I don't? The world is not going to stop because of it!! I am healthy and happy!! SO BE IT!! RIGHT???

FLIP FLOP HAPPY ABOUT FINDING CURVES!!

Thirty pounds is such an achievement!
I know I feel more energetic after our daily walk (and we've been doing it for about twelve yrs or so)
:)

Ah all this sounds familiar to me. Too much sitting around, I can't wait to get back to Pilates again, hopefully in a couple of weeks if I'm lucky.

A 'gift' animation for you, dear Sandy.....

I can't find an email link, so I uploaded the new "I heart flip-flops" on my Test Blog

It's transparent background so when you save it and then upload it for your sidebar, make sure you use the 'medium' size ---the large or the small size in blogger will not give you the transparency.

Hope you like it. Let me know when you get it...I'll then delete it from mine. :o)

Oh, forgot to say if the animated snowglobe doesn't fit properly in your side bar, just let me know...I can alway make one that will.

I made it! With paintshop.

And no, I couldn't find the email for you anywhere here nor in your profile, so I uploaded it to my own blog...the link above in my first comment here this afternoon ---Click on the link....the snowglobe will open and you should be able to right click on it and save it for yourself...then, upload it to your own blog as a 'draft' ---ALWAYS keep it as a draft post and then after you save it as a draft (upload it, then save as a draft post)....using 'medium size...it should then be transparent....no color to the background.

Do not delete your draft...open for preview and then copy and paste the 2nd image url...it's usually the '400' size.

If you want me to email it to you, I need your email addy.

Have FAITH...you will lose more. I always tell my ladies...ONE DAY AT A TIME! :) and like you said, you didn't put it on overnight, you aren't going to take it off overnight. Even if you never lose another pound or inch, Curves is all about YOU and how it makes YOU feel. You are the most important person in your life. I wish you many more years of happiness at Curves and God Bless!

I read your comment on Oscar's blog how to put the flee stuff on your cat Simon. You know what I do ? I just wait that they are all deeply sleeping then I lurk carefully like a bank robber if nobody is moving and then quickly empty the whole liquid on their necks ! Just have to rubb a bit and it's done. That works quite well !

Sandy, thank you for sharing this post on Curves and your two years experience in weight loss. Congratulations! I so need to do this too. Did you have a fear of the group thing at first? Was curious on that aspect.

I so appreciate your visit on my daughter's celebration story. It means alot. *Hugs* Bonnie
