New addition to our FAMILY

"BABY ANNIE"

As some of you know we lost our LUCY in December. She was the sweetest cat that we have had in years and we still are mourning her!! Good friends of ours knew about this and were so sweet!! They gave us the money to go and adopt a new cat!! I have been looking for the past few weeks for a new cat to love!! The cat that we have had for the past 3 years...SIMON...does not like me very well because he likes biting me...you never know when either!! He loves my husband.(AND I can see why of course)... Lucy always seemed to love me and everyone for that matter. My friends knew that and knew how much I missed having a cat that LOVED ME!!
After weeks of looking I found BABY!! She was at PETSMART today!! I was about to give up and there she was!! She is very laid back and sweet...I know in this picture she looks a little bit scared and that is because WELL SHE IS!! She just left her human mommy and is in a new place!! This is all strange to her!! I just hope she learns to love us soon. I cannot blame her. I would be scared of SIMON if I were her. Her one main advantage (that I bet she will figure out soon...IS that she has claws and he does not)!!
I just wanted to share with you our new BABY...I hope to some day drop that name...that is what her old owners called her because of the way you can handle her. I want her to be called ANNIE!!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We are so far!! Today is a beautiful day plus we have our motorhome finally here since the fence is now up in our backyard. We bought an older motorhome but with the restrictions and codes here we had to have a fence before we could bring it home!! Funny codes but we did what they told us to do you know!!

FLIP FLOP FLOOZIE IN A GOOD AND HAPPY MOOD TODAY!!!

Awww, I'm so glad for you! She looks lovely and Annie and Baby have very similar sounds so it shouldn't be any problem to switch. Hope she settles in smoothly.

Hi Sandy. I know how sad you were when you lost Lucy. I'm so glad that you met Baby Annie and hope she brings you happiness just like Lucy did. I'm sure no one can replace Lucy but I hope Baby Annie can bring you a refreshing source of joy and excitement. Take care!

Well, I'm kinda partial to the name you chose. And we've adopted two older cats from the pound. Well, Tahoe was from a pet smart adoption day from a 'foster' home....but our Winston is from the Humane Society. Winston's papers had his name Sterling, but he never acknowledged Sterling, and with his mistachioed pudgy face he looked like Winston Churchill, and we started calling him Winston the very day we brought him home ---and he comes to that name, so it's fitting. And Tahoe, her name has always been Tahoe, but she really loves being called "Pretty Kitty".

Annie is gorgeous, and one that will soon cater to your lovin' and she in return. congrats.

Annie is the cutest name. Long ago I had a calico named Annie that was just the most gentle spirit I've ever seen.
I'm sure your Baby will be a perfect Annie after she adjusts a bit!
