Appetizer
Which celebrity (or celebrities) do you think will make headlines this year?

Lately I have not been keeping up much on that stuff!! I have not the slightest idea!! I guess maybe Tom Cruise has had his all over with by now so well maybe it is Oprah's time once again...who knows!!???

Soup
They say that good things come in small packages? What is something little that you think is great?

My engagement ring came in a small package and I just loved it. I still have the same one and I want it to stay that way too. No changing it!! Just the way it was when hubby gave it to me all those many many years ago next month in fact when I was 18 on my birthday!!

Salad
Name a song that makes you want to dance.

I like the old songs that Michael Jackson sang...when he was good!! I like to put them on when I am cleaning!! I can get a lot done to those songs!!! I hope no one is looking...would be a tad bit embarrassing I bet!!

Main Course
What is your favorite font?

I have always liked Comic Sans Script. I know their are tons out there, but I do like this particular one!!

Dessert
If you were to write a do-it-yourself article, what would it be about?

Well, yesterday I just learned how to fold sheets the right way. I will be writing a blog on it in just a bit!! I had to learn after being married 42 years!! I will even have pictures!! Yes...pictures!! It is called cupping!! smile!!

Well, now you have me wONdering IF I fold the sheets correctly... I would call what I do "cupping" I guess... I put the corners inside each other -- and then fold it the other way and do it again... but that's just on the fitted sheets... the flat ones I just fold... just ... normal folding! I'm very curious now!

I still have the same ring I had when Dennis and I got married too -- and a few years ago I was in a car accident and they had to CUT IT OFF! I was SO mad! But then, ya know what he said to me? After it had been fixed? He said "Honey, our marriage hasn't been perfect, and we've had some bad spots -- and now your ring does too! But it's all fixed and good as new - and we are too." And that made it all better! Cuz it's true!

Once again I enjoyed reading your posts. I love the little saying about the computer and a clean house. I'm also sorry to hear about your Dad, is he better now. In case your wondering, I read about it on another blog. In order to find you I have to hunt for you. I only wish I knew how to put you on my side bar. I liked the post about the little children. Our God is certainly in the Miricle working business. and I praise him for it. I'm hoping you have a blessed New Year.

I had to get my original wedding set cut 'cause I broke those fingers of my left hand...so, while it was off, and my fingers were healing, hubby had them all reset and added emeralds to them. I love that that he did such a thing (without my knowledge 'til the cast was taken off, then he surprised me with it) I still have the original ring, but the setting isn't there any longer. And when he put the new stuff on my finger it was in front of witnesses to couple our marriage and seal it once more, very classy for him. It was a very touching moment.

I can do hospital corners when making the beds...(One sheet set is waterbed) and the folding has always been 'cupping' of the traditional sheets.

Happy Friday, and Happy Weekend!!!!

Loved your post today! I love random lists like this (I usually do something like this on Tuedays on my blog, so I gotta hold on to this idea!!).
Young Michael Jackson was good! I still love "Pretty Young Thing." That one can make me dance! How about anything by the Bee Gees? If I ever hear "Jive Talking" on Muzak, I'm dancing in the store right then (even if my kids are embarrassed .. . it's happened!!!)

Dear Flip Flop...Hopefully your directions for folding sheets wll be easy enough for me!
One time Miss Katy had visitors and one of the ladies saw how I was trying to fold a fitted sheet and I must say it wasn't very good!
"Here " she said to me, "let ME show you how to do it properly"...Of course with her help it turned out to be the neatest sheet that I had ever folded but she never did let me try it on my own so if course I have forgotten COMPLETLY!!

Have a good weekend Sandy...Love Terry

Awww....sweet thoughts. Happy Anniversay. Charlie had to reset the tips on my diamond twice in the last 33 years. Are you talking fitted sheets?

I can't wait to read about the cupping process. I know I don't fold sheets the proper way. Sounds so interesting!

Cheers!
