THIRTEEN PLACES FLIP FLOP FLOOZIE HAS
VISITED

  1. Budapest, Hungary...My hubby and I went in 91 on a missions trip and got to also see the Blue Danube, which, by the way is not blue!!
  2. Vienna, Austria....On the same mission trip. We worked most of the time but got a flying trip through the beautiful city one afternoon. It was gorgeous!!
  3. Ocho Rios,Jamaica...Our youngest daughter and her MAN were married there. My hubby and I stood up with them. What a beautiful place!! We did not get to stay long in the "Garden of Eden". I wish someday we could go back again. We were at the Sandals resort.
  4. The Redwoods in California...Wow now those are some TREES!! I love trees!! I have always loved trees!! Those are the BIG daddy of TREES!! I have wanted to go there for as long as I can remember..It is SO WORTH THE TRIP!!
  5. Mt. St. Helen's...We went with our son when he lived in Oregon. That again is something to see. I was just hoping that it would not erupt at least while we were there...*smile!!
  6. San Diego...We went there again with our son. Guess this is because he lives where he can take us to the GOOD places.!!
  7. Las Vegas...Again away we went with our son again. I never had the 1st "want" to go there but now I am glad that we went at least ONE TIME!! I am glad that we went and saw exactly what it is like. I am not sure that I would like to go again, though...once was enough.
  8. Vancouver, Canada...Beautiful...Although it rained most of the time we were there.
  9. St. Johns in the Bahamas....Beautiful Island...We were only there for a few hours but really enjoyed being there looking around the island.
  10. Grand Canyon....How gorgeous...How gigantic!! No words can tell anyone about this magnificent wonder!!
  11. Hollywood...I have ALWAYS wanted to go there and finally made it last year!! I was not as impressed as I thought I would be...but I got there. I got to see the stars on the Hollywood walk of fame and took pictures, pictures and more pictures!!
  12. Atlantic and Pacific Oceans: Growing up in the Midwest I never thought I would get to see both of the oceans that are on both sides of our great United States but I have been able to see them BOTH!! How fortunate!! Really I never thought I would get to travel as much as I have been able to....I have been flip flopping more than I ever thought!!!

You sure do get around! I'd settle for just one or two of those places. I live a sheltered life. The farthest place I've been was Mississippi on a missions trip!

Holy smokes! I had no idea you were SUCH a world traveller!!! WOW! Budapest? That's GREAT! I've never been to ANY of your places! I'm game for all of them though! ;)

No need to stop at my place -- I haven't blogged a thing today! Just got home from work - am on my way to Curves! (this WORK thing has gotta GO!)

That sounds like some great adventures. I know what you mean about the Grand Canyon. I've seen it from 'both sides' so to speak, and I gotta say there is something magical about it. And I won't EVER forget the view the first time through my eyes. I was speechless. No, guess not. On second thought I said over and over "Oh my god"...the beauty will last forever in my mind.

And Vegas? Fun place to be, but VERY costly and quite a reminder of 'prostitution' ---not the way you think, but the whole city is 'selling itself' for you to waste money! You know what I mean?

Now San Diego is very close to my heart. I was asked to marry the man I married in the city....years ago!!!

Drop by Sandy, I have a few views of the Texas Gulf today. (we both have seen the oceans too. I like the Pacific much better. LOL) Now, you gotta come down and see the Gulf waters!!!!

Great places. Ocho Rios is beautiful. We went on a mission trip there so we were NOT at the Sandals resort! The Grand Canyon is truly breathtaking.
Thanks for the visit over at my place!

LOL...."Vancouver, BC...beautiful, but it rained almost the whole time we were there".....LOL..yup, that's my hometown for ya..we don't have webbed feet on the wetcoast for nothing! Now, if you were here NOW, you'd get an eyeful...we haven't had rain since late July and it's as warm as an late spring day here now. Next time you decide to come, let me know...I'd love to be your personal tour guide.
