MY MONDAY MEMORIES...
This is our granddaughter Katie!! She is going to be turning 13 this week!!
I thought it would make a great Monday Memory. I remember the
year that she was born. It was a very bad year for me. I felt so
bad that year. I was about 48 years old. She was so pretty just like
"FLIP FLOP FLOOZIE"

all of the granddaughters had been, of course!! After I got through that
bad time then it was more fun to have a new granddaughter. Her birthday
comes about the same time as her grandpa's. That means that hubby is
going to be having a birthday this week also. He is not at all close to 13 though...
thank goodness!! Neither one of us would like to be 13
again!!
Katie is a beautiful young lady that loves the computer and computer games. She will
one day be a lovely grown woman. Time has a way of taking care of that!!

13 is such a big number for girls! I can't remember my 13th birthday but I do remember my 14th! How funny! And grandchildren are just wonderful. They add so much to our lives! I have two but see you have many more than that! Happy Birthday to your Miss Katie!

Thirteen!! !! She is just still a baby but don't tell her that!
I, for one wouldn't mind being 13 again if only for a little time because that would mean that I was still back in my beloved Manitoba again. Those six short years that we spent there when my dad was in the airforce were the happiest years in my life!!
I am very envious of that Saija and Leo I am telling you!! Ha!

Sandy............would't I just love to be 13 again (well maybe not!) they have such a busy life now and grow up so very fast. Your grand daughter was a beautiful baby and what a cute photo.

Morning Sandy!! Oh Katie! I love her name. We were so close to naming our daughter Katherine and calling her Katie. It's so Irish, and so pretty for a girl, don't you think?
I didn't get to visit blogs yesterday much, so I wanted to make sure I dropped by first thing this morning.
As you know, my blog is 'titled' thanks for the memories, so I really enjoy peoples' memories. A lot. That to me is what life is all about....memories, good and bad.
In fact, I put up a memory just this morning...I'm not part of Monday memories - I kinda tend to do them much more often than once a week. LOL
Anyway, Happy Birthday dear Katie! And Mike too real soon!!!!
Hope they both have grand celebrations.
