I've read the NOTEBOOK....excellent.
And your #13---well, I gotta find that one for sure.
Thanks for the visit today and the wonderful comment.
I have read The Notebook and loved it. I have also read Eugenia Price's books...Savannah, right??? It was wonderful. I'll have to look up some of these others.
My TT is up here
i've never read anything by Ted Dekker ... hopefully or local library has a book of his!
i love Francine Rivers' books ... she writes with such sweeping depth ...
blessings on your summer reading ... i'm waiting for my fall reading time to begin!
What a great list!
I'll have to add your list to mine.
Thanks for dropping by and your words of encouragement.

I just did a book listing of books that are worth the time to read this week. Not trying to toot my horn, just giving you book suggestions since I see that you are a fellow reader!
And I'm guessing that you are a Dekker fan...
My TT is also up.
Good list...yes I did notice that maybe you like Ted Dekker just a little. Good talking to you yesterday.
Hm...I think you like Ted Decker! I love Karen Kingsbury, have you read any of her? If not, start with the Redemption series! It's great! She's a christian fiction author.
I loved the Notebook and I think Barbara Johnson is very funny;-) My favorite Christian author is Francine Rivers...mostly her contemporary stories, I have not tried her historical fiction, but I am sure it is very good. Are the Dekker and Blackstock books mysteries? I've all of the Left Behind series except the last one.....can't explain why but I just lost interest. I also love Jan Karon's Mitford series and am working on the final book. Karen Kingsbury's Redemption series is great. My DD1 loves Frank Peretti books. Happy reading! My TT is up;-)
I've read some of Peretti books, I really liked "The Oath" by him...very good. I have "Monster" to read, just haven'tgotten to it yet.
Happy Thursday!
Just bought my first Ted Dekker, I'll have to see what he's like. My T13 is up at FBI - Bible Misquotes Edition.
I've read Terry Blackstock too and I love Sophie's Heart. Yes, sometimes I too get stuck reading my favorite authors but its such a blessing to have good authors to read.
The Weeping Chamber by Sigmund Brouwer is the only book that has ever made me cry. I've read it 3 times, and it's still one of my favorites.
Also, have you read The Red Tent by Anita Diamant?? Excellent! It's an elaboration on the story of Dinah by a Jewish author - you won't find it in Christian bookstores, and it's a very good read.
I liked your Sunday blog, was quite interesting, but wondering why you think you need so much space, thought you want to down size like we did. As long as you have ground and a mobile home, you will always have yard to care for and taxes to pay. Think about it before you do anything you might wish you had not done. Know how you feel, it is a big undertaking just to move, ask me about it, I know.
Just wish you all the luck in the world and hope all works out like you want it too. Why didn't you say you wanted a mobile home, we could have sold you ours CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. That is a funny, right? Take care and keep on blogging. Love you Mother & Dad
