Movie recommendation!! Just finished watching "Coach Carter". I highly recommend this movie. One of the better ones that I have seen lately!!! Finally a GOOD MOVIE!!!
Some movies have great top movie stars in them...You think it is going to be a GREAT movie just because you like the stars. They get great reviews and hype...then you pay your $6.00 and POW...disappointment!!
But now with this one. This movie shows the world that you can take a team of kids who are living on the "wrong side of the tracks" and make them into something that they thought they could not be.
The best thing is that this is a TRUE story. Ken Carter is real. He set up a list of rules and the team had to sign a contract and then abide by the rules. He turned young boys into young men!! Something that teachers do not seem to have time to do anymore.
What a tribute to this one man who tried so hard to make these boys understand that the choices that they make effect the rests of their lives.
GREAT MOVIE!! Rent it and see
