Sunday FUN!!

Sunday was a fun day for me!! Our daughter, Becky and her two kids had decided to go to Vidalia, Ga to see the Blue Angels. Hubby usually loves to go but he wanted to stay home and watch his favorite team..DA' CUBS!! I had thought about staying at home several times but then thought to myself.."SELF, you never go anyway and you live in this beautiful state! Go!!" So this time i listened to ME and went. I HAD A GREAT TIME!!

I am usually not a lover of air shows but for some reason, I had a great time!! We walked around before the show and looked into some planes. It was hot...Being right there on the air strip and all that concrete well that did not make it any cooler!!

We stopped and got a coney dog, lemonaide shake-ups!! We went to our chairs to wait for the big show to start!! I had brought a BIG umbrella from the last Blue Angels show that we went too...I am so glad that i had it!! It helped some with the sun and then later with the rain.

The show started out with daring guys on motorcycles..jumping and doing tricks. You would have to be crazy to do this..but like Becky said they are just thrill seekers!! Good for them.


Then they had all kinds of planes doing tricks and dives!! WE kept waiting for those Angels to start!! The big ugly clouds kept moving in and then leaving!! But we stayed..waiting!!

Finally the BIG show started!! I have a new camera and it has a burst on it. I love this feature. It helps you just keep taking one picture right after the next. Sure helps with fast moving
airplanes!!

How cool!!!

We had a great time watching them do their thing!! Finally it was time to leave and the rain set in. We had to walk back to be picked up by a school bus and then taken back to our car. Even though the rain messed up the end of the day, we still had a fun time. I know that I did.

I have been going to work and coming home for so long now. I needed a change!! My mental health is starting to get better now thanks to new medication. Each day i am feeling a little bit better!!

Thanks to all of you who have been praying and thinking about me. It has really helped. I have had a very hard past 4 weeks now!! I NEVER want to go back there again!! Also I have learned a good lesson through all of this too.
