WHAT A WEEK!!

Many of you might have wondered what has happened to me!! Well I have had the worst headache!! It started on Tuesday and just lasted and lasted until late that night I could no longer stand it anymore!! By Wednesday morning with DRUGS I finally got up to no headache but I was still not out of the woods. I stayed in bed all day Wednesday!! Thursday comes along and I am better and knowing that I need to get myself up and going!! I took a shower and decided that I was getting out of this house!!

That worked but I was back laying down Thursday afternoon!! I still have no idea what happened but I think it was the WORST sinus headache that i have ever ever had. I tried taking my migraine medication but that would not even touch it. Boy, I never would wish that on anyone!! TERRIBLE!

Saturday was another big day for me. Tootsie and I had our hat party!! As you know we have a neighborhood party every 3 months or so. This is our 3rd year of doing this. I cannot believe it has been that long so far!! We knew this one would not be the best because not only had I been sick and not been able to put a lot into it...Tootsie was very sick for about 10 days. We both went anyway. We neither one could stay long!! WE had a very very small turn out but two new women. The theme of this party was to decorate or make your own hat!! One lady made the best hat!! She really put some thought into it. Tootsie made a tootsie roll hat where I....well what do you think I made...YEAP a flip flop hat!! It was fun.

I had to give a speech right after that party at a restaurant here in Savannah. I was asked by my manager at CURVES if I would speak to this woman's group about CURVES!! SURE...i said..that was 2 months ago...well November 10th came quick!! I just pretended that i knew everyone of them and was really at ease. I know that a lot of you were praying for me and believe me I could feel it!! This was an African American group of Christian ladies called Women of Worth!! We all love the Lord so I knew that i fit in perfectly!! My skin is just a little whiter than theirs. They were so nice!! I wish that I could have stayed longer but I had church to attend in the afternoon. What fun!! I would do that again for sure!! This is me in my Women of Worth T-shirt!!

Today we just went out with our daughter and her kids....or I mean she went with us. We have been looking for some ground someplace where there are no rules or covenants. We are getting our fill of that here. We went to Guyton, Ga and found a really nice mobile home on 5 acres of land. It is in the woods and so quiet there!! WOW!! For those of you who have been to our home know that we have tons of stairs. This home is all on one level (of course). My hubby and I would love to live where there are not tons of stairs. We don't know where God wants us yet. We are waiting for him to show us the right place for us. If we got something like this, our daughter and her family would build on the same land with us....sounds great to me!!

Well everyone I am back!! Hopefully no more headaches to contend with!! I do work a lot this next week as our CURVES SMART will be put in tomorrow. I will try to get to your blogs. I hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend. The weather here is just gorgeous!!
