Sunday!!

Madison and the pastor that baptized her

What a wonderful night last night was!! Our 10 year old granddaughter, Madison gave her heart and life to Jesus and was baptized!! I was so proud of her!! I am eternally grateful for the salvation of 5 of our granddaughters now!! The boys are trailing but they are still young too!!

It was a wonderful night. We got front row seats...which is NOT my favorite place to sit but we had to have pictures you know!! I decided at the last minute to make my picture taking a video since Maddie's daddy could not be there...Now I cannot get my video sent. Does anyone know how to reformate a video? I cannot seem to send it out to people or post it!! Wish I knew how!! I know it must be too large but somehow it should send..compact it or some word like that..if anyone knows let me know..Thanks!!

Back to last night..i regress....okay...Maddie just got up there and spoke right up when she was asked if she knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Then when she and mommy came back to the service i wanted so badly to hug her...Finally when the last song was being sung here she comes over and hugs me...I was so touched. She has the sweetest heart!! Believe me..I wonderful sweet heart. I told Mike that if ANYONE ever breaks that heart I am going to go and injury them...Even if by then I have to use my cane!! Smile!! Garrett was standing on the other side of me and I had my other arm around him..He was cuddling into me too..What a wonderful feeling..One that i do not want to forget!! I felt so safe right there with my grands hugging and Mike on the other side...being in God's house!! What a wonderful experience for this old granmother!!

Afterwords everyone wanted to go eat and of course that is something that Mike and i cannot do anymore...but Mike said...this is so special so off we went!! I gave Madison her gift which was the cutest little Willow Tree statue. I thought this one looked like her and she loves cats..someday she says she wants to be a vet!! She would be a good one for sure!!

Isn't this just the cutest!!! Looks like Maddie and the cat and of course the name of the statue.."kindness"...which fits her so well. We had a great time at the restaurant. She had several other friends her age there that had come to see her baptized...What a great celebration...now to pray for our 2 grandsons!! They will be next!!

Today has been a very rainy day...plus it has given me a headache...sinus probably!! We were called at 3:15 this morning by our daughter saying that the tornado sirens had gone off. They only hear them on their side of Georgetown and we NEVER hear them...We got on the computer and turned on the TV...It went over us I guess because finally we were both so sleepy that we went back to bed. Got up this morning to big puddles of rain everywhere...Several other counties got snow!! It was in the 60's but is going down now into the 50's and is supposed to get colder. Crazy weather but am not going to get too upset if it does snow here...

Well it is lunch time so had better go eat something. Hope your weekend was a great as mine..Oh I forgot about going to Garrett's pinewood derby yesterday...He had a great time and so did we. Mike had helped make his car so wanted to see it race. He did not place but had fun anyway...

This is Garrett on the left and his friend Jack
on the right..they had both had one race
where they got 1st!!

Off to the kitchen now!!

FLIP FLOP
Thought for the day: "Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen every day!!"

That was a wonderful evening. Congrats to Madison.

The weather is whacky... we've had a few snow flakes today in SW GA. Nothing sticking though.

Awww! Maddie looks as HAPPY as she should be! And that little statue is perfect for her -- Kindness is one of the fruits of The Spirit - and she is now filled with The Holy Spirit! Very appropriate Gma!

It is SNOWING to beat the band up here! We're supposed to have pert near a foot by morning!!! I don't love it -- believe me -- I DON'T! But it IS pretty while it's happening! By tomorrow evening I'll be hating it... *sigh*

Congratulations to Maddie. It's a big day in her life.

Glad that tornado missed you! Those things are terrifying and I would hate to be in the path of one.

I hope all is well with you and Mike, Sandy.

Hello dear Sandy:-)

Congratulations to Madison on being baptized!! I can well imagine how proud you were of her. This coming Saturday I will be seeing my own grandbaby being christened:-) Love the Willow Tree figurine you gave her, just perfect!!

It's still very frigid here but at least the sun has been shining...we certainly don't want any more snow! As it is, it will take forever to get rid of what we do have! lol

Hope your week is a wonderful one, my friend. xoxo
