SUNDAY!!

Good Morning to a cool (finally) South East day!! It is very cool and for here well that is COOL!!

Last night we went to church for the first service like always ONLY this time I had the two kids. They would not go to childrens church for some reason so they sat with me. They are always really really good!! We had a great service as always and learned so much as always!! Afterwards, I took them to McD's for their supper. Hubby M had to stay and usher. Every other week he has to do both services and of course this was the "every other one"!! We noticed how cool it was getting.

After eating we stopped by Mommy and Daddy's house. Their key just will not work in the door (the one they gave me) plus they had locked the outside door. We thought since it was so cool that the kids needed some jackets.

We went to the side of the house and thought we would push the trash barrel up to the fence and then Garrett could jump over the fence and try the side door. Well being the "I am not a daredevil boy"....he got to the top of the trash barrel and said..NOPE...I am not jumping into the dark..So Maddie says.."Get down Garrett. I'll do it!!" Funny how they are so different. She is getting ready to climb up there when I notice that the fence gate is...OPEN!! Much easier way than climbing and then jumping. We go to the side door and find out that it is locked. In fact, the whole place was locked up TIGHT!!

So back into the car and off to WALMART!! We needed jackets!! Found a couple of inexpensive jackets for the kids. Around here you just never know when the temperatures will change. I am so glad that i bought them because this morning it is in the 50's and of course they are outside playing!!

I am back to having severe pains in my legs again!! It was horrible last night!! Finally had to drug myself and let them rest that way. I have had this problem for over 12 years now and no one can fix it or so they say. I am sure it is a pinched sciatic nerve. I just wish that something could be done. Nothing really helps. Exercising is the best so far but now that is not helping. I seem to go through periods when it is worse. I am in one!! GREAT!!

Kids are being good. They knew I felt horrible last night so they brought me a big bowl of strawberries, bananas with whipped cream on top. They did it all themselves...Such Sweet Hearts!!

Today...don't know yet as well..I really do not want to do a thing but have too..beds need to be made and stuff like that. Maybe the maid will come in...No guess not it is Sunday!! Well great thought!!

Hope that everyone is having a great Sunday!! We are loving the cooler weather..Fall/Winter might be coming..who knows around here...

I am so sorry you are having such pain. My hubby had sciatica several years ago and our chiropractor helped him tremendously. Come on up and I'll get you an appointment with him!

Hi Sandy,
That leg pain sounds so uncomfortable.
Praying you find some quick relief.
Your grandkids sound so sweet to bring you a yummy treat when you felt so bad.
Take care,

I have bad pains in my legs at night too, and although this sounds stupid, it works. Take 2 tablespoons of vinegar in a 6-8 oz. glass of water. Put it by your bedside, and when you awaken with leg pains, drink it down. I know it sounds foolish, but google "night leg pain vinegar," and you'll see many references.

Try it and let me know.

Sandy,
Thank you so much for being there for me to sound off to.
I am sorry you are having leg pain, Do you have restless leg? My cousin said slow release magnesium helps hers alot.
You might want to ask your doctor about that.
I once went to a local foot doctor that creeped me out. He was talking to me and I thought he was going to point at me when his finger went right betweeen my breasts and he kept right on talking like it didn't happen. It was only a very quick touch but it bothered me. Of course, no one else was in the room. I never went back.
I hope you like your new doctor.

Sandy? Have you ever tried a chiropractor for your legs? My niece had sciatica when she was pregnant and her chiropractor was able to help!

I don't blame Maddie and Garrett for wanting to stay for the BIG people service! Your praise team is sO awesome! If I were a kid, that's where I'd wanna be too!

We had a visiting pastor today - and his sermon was AWESOME! He teaches religion and theology at a Lutheran High School up above Baltimore -- and let me tell you - that man knows how to answer the TUFF questions! Cuz that's what the high school kids dish out! It was GREAT!

Sounds like you had a great time with them. I hope your legs are better soon...I had sciatica when I was pregnant and boy it is painful. Have a great week!

You have my sympathy, Sandy. Sciatica is bad enough in one leg, but two! That would be awful. Go and get some physiotherapy, that might help. I just hope it rights itself soon, 'cos it's not nice to have.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm so loving this cooler weather. It's about time.

I agree with Melli on the chiropractor. You should check into it.

Hope your legs start feeling better. Wonder if it could be related to the change in temperature? It's finally cooler up here too.

Bringing you fresh fruit was so thoughtful of your grands.

I'm sorry that the leg pain has flared up again. It is a miserable pain.

Glad the kids had sucha good time. The "breaking in" attempt was too funny.
