Look what I FINALLY RECEIVED today!! I won this from Pea over at Pea's Corner. She sent it out to me at the end of August and it is September 16th and I FINALLY receive it. We were both wondering where it had gone!! Guess it just takes a while for it to get from Canada all the way down here in Georgia!! It is really nice!! It is packed with fun things and of course all BLUE and blueberry items. Thanks so much PEA!! You are going to be happy that it has made its way to me. Maybe I should not sign up at your blog to win anything!! I was so amazed that you picked my number randomly!! Thanks again!!
Today has been another busy day just like yesterday!! Yesterday was kind of a crazy day with the kids after school, supper, homework, going to Cub Scouts, taking supper to my son in law and finally around 8:00 feeding my own hubby!!
Today started with CURVES and walking at the mall. I have finally decided that losing weight is NOT going to happen for me in this world. I am just going to wait for my "new body" when I get to heaven...BUT exercise does help my chronic pain in my hips and legs...so that is just my goal now with exercise.
We had the "Service Engine Soon" light pop up on our car's dash!! I went out to a place we trust and praying for nothing BAD to be wrong!! Funny thing is that the reason it came on was because our gas tank lid was not on tightly!! I guess these cars have that precaution on them now. They did not charge me but OH the money I spent on gasoline just driving there was enough!! I paid $4.06 for gas. I heard this morning that Savannah has one of the highest prices in the nation!! How fun that we have that great distinction!! I am so PROUD!!
We have these most disturbing bugs here!! I swear they are worse than last year. They are called love bugs here. All they do is fly around "hooked" to each other..die in 24 hours and make tons of babies at the same time. They are even in the house this year!! WHEW!! Garrett and Madison were saying yesterday that it is hard to play outside. They get all over them. They do not bite or anything just a nuisance!!
We made reservations yesterday for Northern Ga for an October weekend. WE will be close to two bloggers that I read regularly but I am not sure if we will have time to stop and see you both!! We are checking out the country and a couple of cities up there. Just thinkin'!!
VERY HOT again here today!! Our FALL takes the LONGEST time to get here!!

I know love bugs. We've been in FL this time of the year and they are everywhere! Like you said, they are just a nuisance!
It has felt like fall here the past 2 days. High's in the 70's without humidity. We still haven't had any rain and none in the forecast for the next 2 weeks.

LOL! I've never heard of your "Love bugs" -- but you just keep 'em down there! I don't need 'em! We had a time with biting flies down on the beach yesterday! Really took the fun OUT of being there! UGH!

Yes, I am indeed relieved that my package finally reached you:-) I've learned to be patient, though, when it comes to parcels between Canada and the USA, it always seems to take a few weeks. Seems the more we pay for postage, the slower the service is! lol
Glad to hear nothing was wrong with your car except for not having the gas tank lid on tight! lol Gas here is 1.39 a liter which makes it $5.56 a gallon...utterly ridiculous.
Never heard of love bugs but yuck, I'd be in a panic if they flew on me, I don't like any type of but. lol
We had frost yesterday morning and they're forecasting frost again tomorrow morning so looks like Autumn is here to stay! xoxo
