Tuesday Tidbits

Hello here I am trying once again to make my blog look different!! I like change!! I am having a time learning about how to make this one work right!!

I want to tell everyone about a great woman that is so good at this sort of thing!! Without her and others from blog land I would be a mess most of the time. Thanks so much to Anni for helping me out!! I will learn this. I have been trying for 3 years and I intend to one day just know how to do it!! WHEW!! That will be a lot to live up too!! Thanks again Anni...You are AWESOME!!

Nothing much going on this week. Just working out at curves and walking the mall!! Dull life it sounds like but it is mine and I am very happy with it!!

I have started a new bible study at our church which meets every Thursday AM. It is precepts by Kay Arthur and it is deep and makes you think a lot!! I really like doing it though, because it makes the bible really come alive for you.

We are studying the second half of Isaiah. I missed the first half because I was working!! Now I am back and really enjoying starting at Isaiah 40...on to the end!! Yesterday I was studying and reading. I came across Isaiah 41 and was reading.."Do not FEAR...I am here." I thought yes right when I needed that verse it was there for me!!

We put a sign on our home Sunday..."For Sale by Owner". We know that homes are not selling but we thought lets just try anyway!! God was telling me not to fear...all is going to be okay!! I just need to trust and have HOPE!!

I am trying to memorize Isaiah 40:31...I don't know about you but memorizing is really hard for me to do. It always has been. Nothing to do with age at all!! This is a great scripture and I feel like with the way our life is heading that I need to have this verse in my heart!!

  • "But those who HOPE in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not be weary; They will walk and not be faint."
I just feel like this is going to be something that i am going to have to turn too now!! New season of my life coming up!!

Hopefully Autumn is coming to you!! Here we will not see it for some time!! Have a great day ya'll!!!

Flip Flop
Thought for the day: "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

Beautiful new face-lift for your blog. I'm like you. I like change. I've tried so many things that didn't work that I'm happy when I hit on something that seems good. Autumn is a beautiful time of the year. Enjoy it. Winter will be here before you know it.

I thought you meant in the future (2 yrs or so) you were going to be downsizing, not this Fall! Wow! Change is good but it scares me. Hope you find the perfect buyer for your little home.

You are right to meditate on not fearing. Fear is so cripling and so unecessary if we cling to God.

I understand the memorizing thing - both sides - needing to and having it be hard.

Your endeavors in the Lord will be on my heart.

I love your new look!! It feel like fall! I love the little bear with the pumpkins! So cute.

I did a new post today after being at the Dr.'s yesterday. I have to do that test (articular doplar) or something like that. He could only hear a faint pulse in my legs. Love, grams

Hi Sandy,
Love your new fall look! We're more than ready for some fall weather and thankfully it's a bit cooler here today.
Homes aren't selling quickly here either, so maybe it is a good idea to just list yours when you're not in a big rush to sell.

I love the autumn looks on the blogs. I certainly wish that I was more creative in those endeavors.

Good luck on the "for sale" project. I hope that it goes quickly for you. Do you have a big plan?

Oh boy.... the BIG change is upon ya, huh? Well, you know I will be praying for you! I hope it all goes well and according to HIS plan! You just never know!

Your blog is looking very cute - and yes! Anni knows her stuff! She thrives on figuring this stuff out and does not give up until she's got it! I got waaay bored with it long ago! I just want it to be easy now! LOL!

Hi Sandy,

Your blog looks nice. I love the colors as well as your new header. I want to learn how to change mine up, too. Oh, there are several in blogger that you can change to, like the one I just put on my blog, but I mean I would like to do something original that I can call my own.

Question: Do you have to buy a special software in order to make these special changes to your blog?

Like you, I will learn how one of these days as I will keep trying.

I wish you the best in trying to sell your home.

Hugs,
Betty

ooohhh ahhhhh pretty. I love the new look, Sandy. Very fallish, and fall is my very favorite season. It has felt so much like fall around here lately -- I am lovin' it!

The Bible study sounds like a good one to be going through. Our church is going through "Life On Loan" as a church, and also in several small groups. My group meets this Thursday night. I'm really looking foward to going.

I'm blog hopping again -- if you wouldn't mind ... changing my URL in your list to http://asingleday.com I know. I'm funny like that.

Things are changing around here, so the plan is to be a little more socialable and get around to see my blog friends more. I love the fact that you have never given up on me!

Good luck on selling your house!

I love the new look blog, Sandy. Anni is so clever, isn't she? Her blog always looks so fresh because she is so clever with the graphics thing. I'm hopeless, that's why mine doesn't change.

Good luck with the selling of your house. If the time is right, it will sell, no matter what the market is doing.

Have a lovely week.

I've never experienced autumn personally but I've seen how dramatic and beautiful the color changes are through pictures.

Good luck on selling your home. Hope you receive great offers.
