Thankful Thursday

Faye is coming through Savannah now!!

Thursday already!! So much to be thankful for here in our home!! WE have once again been spared by yet another hurricane!! I have never been in one and well I am not anticipating ever having that opportunity (if you know what I mean)!! We are getting some heavy rains this morning...off and on that is!! Rain is okay but just do not want the wind that could come along with the rains!!

We live with these tall pine trees all around us. They seem to fall or break very easily!!

I am thankful this morning for so many things!! The young couple across the street are back together again!! That makes me happy since they have a little one!! Being in the military so hurts so many marriages. I have seen that a lot since moving here close to an Army base.

Hubby's job is really busy which is good I know but also I am concerned for his health as always!! He is working every day for the next week and a half..Yeap Saturday and Sunday included!! BUT HE HAS A JOB!!

We have a wonderful home to live in and that is the BEST of all blessings for us...food to eat and the bills are paid!! What more can you ask for!! Plus we are dry too!!

I have a loving family of which both of my parents are doing pretty well and into their 80's and now 90 for my dad!! Fortunate lady for sure!!

This is my family with my dad and mother in the
middle!!

I am "still" at home and NOT working as such (outside the home)! I am so happy about that every day. I feel that we have to be thrilled for each and every day that is given to us!!

I am scrap booking and so enjoy that. I have SO MUCH to do!! I am working on our youngest daughter's albums now. I have one done and am on the 2nd one!! Also waiting for our vacation pictures to come then I have all of that to do too plus adding to my high school reunion book!!

I have things to do!! I can do them...yes I am thankful!!

I am happy and am a child of God!!

I have a loving husband that does all he can to make me happy and comfortable!!

I have good health and what a praise that is!!

Thank you God for all these blessings!!

Sandy,

We do have many things to be thankful for and I have yet to get my list posted for today, but I will.

Yes, Carole and I are going to meet this Sunday. We are both so excited. I'm taking my digital camera along. We are going to have FUN and we will both post about it.

Blessings,
Mary

I just read Mary comment! I am excited, too! Glo is going to be able to come over here for my 70th Birthday party on Saturday.

My birthday is tomorrow but Karen and Kelly are having the party on Saturday so every one can come!!

Glo and I are taking camera's so we can post about getting to meet!! I can hardly wait!!!! She lives about 30 miles from here.
Love and hugs, Grams

Ok what are you giving away young lady? I am happy to have my bells returned, thanks honey, lots of memories in them. I feel so much better tonight, next time I will listen to you, you were right, should have got those shots a long time ago. Well believe me I will the next time around. They still ache, but my the pain is all gone, thank God. Just layed it down at his feet, as he can handle it better than I can. Love you. Mother & Dad.

Yes, it sounds like you have much to be thankful for. Great family photo.

The Wordless Wednesday picture is soooo funny.

I was blessed to not have to work outside the home all the time my kids were at home, and even beyond that time.

Blessings,
Charlotte
