My 45th high school class reunion

My TCHS graduating class that showed up!!

Last night Hubby and I went to the Moose here in town to attend my class reunion!! I cannot believe that it has been 45 years since I was in high school...and 46 since hubby was there!! We are really getting old!! How has this happened.

Hubby and i went to the Moose around 5 and got busy trying to figure people out. At first we did not have name tags and finally someone went and got some!! Thanks for that!! Makes it so much easier. Two of my classmates were there that had never attended before. It was really good to see them again!!

Hubby and me-self!!

We had a great meal prepared by the Amish...here is Amish country!! It was all homemade and of course really good!!

We visited and figured out people all night. The band came and it just got very hard to talk anymore...finally around 9:15 we decided to go ahead and come back to our home and just veg some!! We are both so tired.

I am washing now here at my folks apartment! I would go lay down in a minute but I have to get this washing and drying done so that we can leave in the morning to go back to Terre Haute and then hopefully on to Lazy Daisy's home in Virginia!!

FLIP FLOP---not doing any of those lately!! Too Tired!!

Thought for the day: "Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your own children."

Well you were a fiiiiiiine lookin' bunch! Amazing how YOUNG some of you still look ... and then how ooooold a few of 'em look... But I guess you're all about the same age! Are any of them your Facebook buddies?

You get some good rest before you hit the road to travel! You're all prayed up!

That is so neat, Sandy! I haven't made my last two reunions, but plan to attend the next one (which will be 30 for me).

Praying for your trip. Please give Lazy Daisy a BIG HUG for me and tell her I miss her!!!

Hugs!

I'm glad your still having fun. I'm playing catch up tonight. I had VBS this week along with the throw up virus. YUCK!

Thanks for sharing your reunion. I always hate not knowing who the people are but everyones in the same boat.

Have a safe trip and enjoy!

Good evening Sandy, Your HS reunion looked like fun, but the belle of the ball [ you ] left too soon..At my 45th HS reunion three years ago, they had made us a plastic name tag on a cord with our senior school inside of it...this made it so easy to find and know people..

I will wish you and Mike a safe trip to go and see Lazy Daisy and Mr. Wonderful..give them a hug from me..
Take care , love ya, Barb

It must have been a bit surreal to meet your classmates 45 years later and not recognise them at first.

I like your saying for today...grin.

Nice pictures, Sandy. I wish our high schools reunions were that informal. Then maybe more people would attend. Good picture of you and hubby.
