Sunday Blessings!!!

This is our home now after our small group bible study guys got together this morning and painted it for us!! YES they did!! I am so happy and I feel so BLESSED!!

We have now about 5 guys!! They had a big sprayer and i mean BIG Sprayer!! They can make short work of it with that thing!!

The one side of our home was just beat with the sun shining on it...

before

Now it is all painted and looks just so so good!!

after

Yesterday our son in law came and power washed this side so that the peeling paint would just fall off..which it did!! He also power washed some other areas of our home. He did the concrete driveway. You know I never knew just how dirty our drive way was until after he finished. Hubby was having such a great time watching him and finally just went over and took his power washer away and did it himself.

I think he had a great time doing this. Our son in law is an RN but has taken up doing power washing and seems to be really liking it..PLUS he is building up a good business. His business is called the Southside Power Washing...thus this picture!!

He wanted me to take a picture of his back so that you can read on his shirt his business name!! That would be Roger!

With the power washing it helped the guys this morning do the actual painting!! Boy it is lookin' good.

I fixed barbeque sandwiches; a couple of salads and a couple of desserts for lunch!! They all seemed to enjoy the food!!

Now every one is back working and they say should be done soon!! WOW!!

Tomorrow I will get the privilege of calling our "Association" and asking them to please update our file now!! We have completed our painting!! They should be happy!! They give us SO SO MANY problems!! It is exhausting sometimes trying to keep up with the EVER CHANGING rules!!

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!! I just feel blessed today!! Life is good!!

Thought for the day: "Good friends are like STARS!! You don't always see them but you know they are always there!!"

Your house looks great! What a blessing that the men's bible study groups came over to lend a hand. Now your house is freshly painted inside and out. You should feel real good about that.

I've been ready my camera manual today and playing with some of the controls. We've had thunderstorms moving through this afternoon. It has really cooled things off.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

The new paint job looks great. I know you're enjoying the clean driveway as well. We don't have a HO association. Sometimes I wish we did, other times I'm glad we don't.

Looks good! So glad this went smoothly for you! I don't like the associations, either. We had one in Indiana and it was always a problem. Ick. Enjoy your week!
