Thursday Thirteen

Things that describe ME
brought to you by the letter
"S"

  1. SANDY: The name my mother gave me when I was born 63 years ago. Really it is Sandra but I always think that sounds so OLD!! smile!!
  2. SMILE: What I always try to do!!
  3. SING: I have been singing since I was a small little girl. I love to sing still!! I just am not using my voice like I should be!!
  4. SEVEN: This is my favorite number. It is the number of perfection in the bible!! Just always been a favorite for me.
  5. SECURITY: As a woman, this is important to me!! I feel like I have always needed and wanted this.
  6. SILVER: I used to always wear white gold but suddenly I just saw silver and decided that I liked that the best!! Women can change their minds!!
  7. SLUMBER/SLEEP: My favorite thing to do...SLEEP!! I have always loved sleeping. Guess this day time shift at CURVES is getting me down this week...two days of having to rise and shine at 5:30 am...gosh I thought there was only ONE 5:30 during the day!! Boy what a shock..to my system mostly!
  8. SMITH: My last name for 18 years before I married my honey now of 44 years
  9. SOCIAL: Yeap this is me..very social..outgoing..not at all SHY either.
  10. SOUTH EAST: We live in that great region of the USA now after living in the MIDWEST for the majority of our lives.
  11. SPEED: I love driving fast...but don't like riding with someone driving fast!! Does that make any sense.
  12. SWEET/SOUR: Depending on who you talk too and how my day is going!!
  13. SHOPPING: Oh what woman does not like shopping!! More fun when I have money!! smile!!

Thought for the day: "The world is like a mirror, if you face it smiling it smiles right back!!"

Ohhhhh KAY! I can tell "S" is gonna be a MUCH easier letter than "K" was! WoW I had trouble this evening! LOL! You did great!!! And you ARE social - and smiley! And I would choose SWEET - no matter what kind of day you're having! :)

I expected to see snowmen since you collect them too, and the word sassy southerner, not to mention salvation.

Hello FLOOZIE:
Been a long time since I’ve heard that phrase..! I came over from Renie’s blog. You know, I think you are a ‘Scorpio’, You and I have almost the same likes, don’t know about dislikes, but 7 is my number, sleeping is one of my favorite things to do, speed, I drive a little too fast sometimes, it seems that I’m always in a hurry and catch myself asking, “What’s the hurry”, I never meet a stranger and can strike up a conversation with anyone! I don’t mind shopping, although it’s not on my favorites list. Singing, I’ve always been a, ‘Job Singer’, you know on the job kind of singer. Oh, and by the way, 63 doesn’t sound so old, I made my appearance on 10/24/41……………
Also, here’s hoping that your G’ Girls get over the Flu in a hurry……..
Have a great day………. JD

You did a great job with the letter S. I didn't do mine today. I lost my background last night and it took all evening to figure out how to get it back.

I am probably the only woman you will ever meet who doesn't like to shop. But speed I love except when I'm the passenger, then I have white knuckles.

I cannot picture you as a fast driver! I use to be in my younger days now my family says I drive like a blue haired lady. LOL

I use to love driving fast until I got 3 speeding tickets...now I'm a bit slower! lol I always enjoy your Thursday 13 lists:-) You're lucky that you're not shy at all...that's always been my biggest problem, being too shy ever since I can remember. xox

Liked your list. I will do that tag thing, but haven't had a chance to site down today until now. Busy day as usual and yucky rain too. At least it is not that white stuff right:)

For me personally, I LOVE the name Sandra...it's not 'old'...it's dignified.

I am sooooooooooo late getting around to visiting. It's been a busy day again for us. The other day we were out and about and a rock from the truck ahead of us was kicked up by him and naturally.....it hit our windshield! Cracked it good. So, the last couple of days it's been either out working in the yard 'til it gets too hot, and then out trying to find the best place to get the windshield fixed. What a pain vehicles are...and a very expensive toy. LOL
