Sunday Seven

I have been outside with hubby this afternoon trying to make our flower beds look nicer. We put in edging and then pine straw. Hopefully it made things look better. We are both pooped!!

  1. I am thankful this week for a sweet husband that helps me do so many things even if they are not really what he would like to do
  2. I am thankful for the great array of pastors that we have at our church. Each has his own style of preaching. We learn so many things from each of their personalities.
  3. I am thankful that the bills are paid!!
  4. I am thankful that I get a paycheck...no matter how small it is. I can buy some things that I just want!!! smile!!
  5. I am thankful that my family is all healthy!! My parents are doing pretty well now. Keep them in your prayers.
  6. I am thankful for the beautiful weather that we are having here. The sun is shining and it just makes my spirits so much better.
  7. I am thankful for all of you blogging buddies that keep stopping by to read my humble blog!! I just write what comes from my heart but sometimes I read it back and wonder why do people even stop here!! Oh well...after all it is my BLOG!! smiling again!!
**Don't you love these beautiful flowers we planted today!!?? The pink one is a carnation and the red one is the most beautiful red lily that I have seen in a long long time. I just love it!! Oh how I hope they live!!

FLIP FLOP!!

Hi Sandy!
You deserve a nice break after working so hard in your garden!
How I wish I could grow carnations here. I've just never had any success with them. Love their spicy scent..
Your lily is just gorgeous. The deep red color is amazing..

Your flowers are beautiful. I especially love the red lily. You know me with red.

I like you new look. I was planning on doing some maintenance to my blog this afternoon, but our electric was out for 4 hours. Get some rest this evening....you deserve it!

Love the red lily. I am going to look for them too now. Around here we have about a month before we can really start our flower gardens
