WE ARE HOME!!

WE are finally home from that long 14 plus hour trip!! My that truck got very very uncomfortable!! We were all happy to finally get to Savannah.

When we started out from Brie's home in Illinois, it was 8 degrees. We kept watching the temp in the truck. She said when it reached 60 she was going to do a dance. She did a back seat dance for us!! She is thinking she is in WARM heaven I think!!

I hope that she has a good time this week. Won't you know that I have to work the whole week with only Thursday off. I wish that I could just take her places and not have to work. Her aunt may take her to work tomorrow. Brie is thinking about being a nurse and since our daughter (her aunt) is a nurse, she might go to work with her tomorrow. Good experience for her!!

Today we need to get around and get some things done!! Everything is put away and we even have a load of wash going!!

I hope to get back to visiting again soon. Thanks for everyone that put up with me while we were away. Be there to visit soon...

Wish hamburgers were this cheap!! I remember when they were!! McDonald's was the first drive up that I can remember besides Steak and Shake!!

Awwww... Brie is so cute! You guys are going to enjoy having her around sO much this week -- EVEN though you have to work! You know... the fact that a TEENAGE grandchild WANTS to come spend a week with you speaks volumes about the kind of grandparents you ARE!!! I HOPE my sweet Luz still wants to spend time with me when she's a teenager! Y'all have FUN!

Welcome home dear Sandy:-) Always a relief to know when a friend has returned safe and sound from a trip!! I love traveling but 14 hours in a vehicle would even stretch my patience! lol I'm sure Brie will have a fabulous week with you, even if you do have to work:-) xox

Welcome home. Glad it was a safe trip back for you. I'm sure that you are enjoying the warmer temps too. Sounds like you got out of there right before the big storm hit.

Have a great visit with Brie.
