Thursday Dozen -- K

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!!!

From my hubby this morning!! Isn't he Kute!! ??
About ME....with the Letter K

  1. KEEPER: This word describes my husband the best!! He is definitely a keeper.
  2. KNITTING: I am just learning to do this now. When I was back in Illinois with my parents I began learning again. I think I have it down now!!
  3. KIND: I hope this describes me!! I always try my best to be as kind as i can to everyone!
  4. KITCHEN: My most "unfavorite" room in the house...honestly! I am just not a cook...I do not like it at all but it has to be done to keep living..smile!!
  5. KITE: I will always remember my dad making my brother and myself kites when we were little. He could make them really well and then they would soar way up into the blue skies. So much fun!! Such good memories too!!
  6. KNEE: Every night as I try to sleep, mine ache!! I just recently had an injection in my right knee that took the pain away but the ache is left!!
  7. KNOW: There are a few things that I know for sure: My husband loves me and one day I will be with Jesus in Heaven!!
  8. KINDERGARTEN: We did not have kindergarten when I was little. We just started right off with 1st grade...golly I wonder how I made it without pre-school too???
  9. KISS: Yes, my favorite right up there with HUGS!!!
  10. KNOT: Back in the 70's I took up macrame' and did really well at it!! I had parties and sold it for about a year!! I was able to take my family to Disney World. We all had never been!!
  11. KITTEN: OH!! How I LOVE Kittens!! They are the sweetest right up there with a new baby!! BUT I try to stay away from them or i would be bringing them all home with me!!
  12. KEYBOARD: I bet you don't know that I used to play the accordion? I played it for about 10 years when I was young!! That was the going thing then..accordion bands!! It had two keyboards!! I sold mine a long time ago to a woman that was going to the mission field. Wonder what happened to it?

Hooray I'm first! I love your list. Yes, you are 110% KIND! That's one of the things I just love about you. Sandy, you've been hiding your accordian skills? I really would love to hear that.

Hugs and Happy Valentines.

I wonder if the blog world has made husbands a little more CAREFUL about what they give their spouses -- knowing that it's going to get POSTED! LOL!!!

Happy Valentine's Day, my friend!

Happy Valentine's Day, Sandy!

I loved reading your "K" list. I can identify with a lot of them especially the not liking to cook one!

Have a sweet day.

Hugs,
Hope

Hi Sandy, I'm glad you are knitting now. Its fun, isn't it! Kind of like a private world to relax in for a while. I enjoyed reading your 'K's. I am so tired out. Too much excitement here this afternoon. An owl was killed in front of our house....I'm going to post a picture of it & the story. Happy Valentine's Day to you dear blogger friend! =)

Hello Sandy, This is so neat to be able to type in the comments!!! I wanted to tell you how much I like your post the other day about you having so much fun on a lazy summer day! It was like that in the 50's and early 60's! I remember being able to ride my bike over to my friends home and we live in the country at that time!
You did a good job on the Thursday thirteen too! and You are kind I just found your comment about how if you had the money you would just get me a lap top! That was so sweet!! Karen will be working on getting a place for Kelly's computer to be fixed. Love and Hugs Carolyn

I'm late getting around to blogs today. I've been out most of the afternoon. Such a sweet gift from hubby. I bet he is as genuine as you make him out to be.

I can identify with you K list. I was surprised that you play the accordion. Maybe if enough of us bug you, you will do a youtube video for us.
