THE WORD FOR TODAY IS:

WOODEN!!!

Today since the word is wooden, I thought I would
share with you these cute little chairs that my dad
whittled for me. He can no longer whittle because
of his shaky hands, but i am so fortunate to have
these to keep!!

Wow, very small detailed carvings of the chairs. The person that made them must have been very careful and skilled!

Those are adorable little chairs and how lucky you are to still have them. Seems like everything is made of some sore of composite or plastics these days and I hate to see those wonderful old skills go by the wayside.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I believe that your son probably lives about two hours to the southeast of us. That is a beautiful area.
