THE THURSDAY DOZEN!!!

My Thursday Dozen...this week brought
to you by the Letter G (hey there Elmo)!!

  1. Gambler: never me!! I just do not like taking chances that much...besides who has money to just throw around anymore!! Not me!!
  2. Giggle: I am very very good at that especially when you have the blogging babes all here!!
  3. Garter: I had a very pretty blue one when I was married. I had it for years and then let my daughter wear it when she was married. My mother made it for me.
  4. Geranium: One of my favorite flowers. They always remind me of my grandmother (MOM). She always loved them.
  5. Gift: I love giving gifts to my friends. I just never have enough money to give like I would LOVE to give...Oh another G word..GIVE
  6. Georgia: We have lived here almost 7 years now!! I would never have thought years back that we would ever move from Illinois and here look at us!!
  7. Goldfish: I cannot have fish...they always DIE!! We had Susie and Charlie once. I found them at the top of the fish bowl...down the toliet they went!!
  8. Gold: I don't like this as well as I used too...now I prefer silver jewelry!!
  9. Grace: What i have been saved by...God's Riches At Christ's Expense!!
  10. Grandma: yes!! And I love it!! We have 6 grandchildren plus one that was grafted into this family!! I am going on 19 years being a grandmother!! How cool is that?
  11. Gray haired: Not too much longer!! Am off to the bathroom and the Clariol soon
  12. Grumpy: Very seldom but when I am...Oh!! Not a good time to be around me!!
NOW GOODBYE!!
FLIP FLOP!!

Good morning Sandy,I love your "G" list today.I had a garter belt in nursing school to wear with my white stockings and I always thought it looked sexy.I have owned many fishes too and they would get flushed down the bowl..... thanks for making me smile this morning reading your list.

Great G list!! We are so much alike in most ways, but there are a few places we differ. I love to gamble!! That is my recreation money, just as someone else may budget for a movie or a round of golf.

I see you got you message at the top of your comment field. Wasn't that easy?

Hi Sandy,

Great post. I feel I know you a little better after reading it.

We had some goldfish once and went to Fl in February only to come home to find them dead. We had an ice storm, electricity went off and they froze to death. We never did buy any more.

Awesome list.

That was cute - I wonder how much longer people will actually know what a garter is (was)?

Hi Sandy. Thank you for commenting and yes, I missed you too! It was awful not being able to read what my friends were up to, I felt really isolated.

I loved your last G answer. What is it they say? Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy...lol!

What a fun list of "G"'s and I agree geranium's are a favorite of me. I am so lucky that my hair hasn't turned gray yet and I am 55 years old. My day will come but consider it a blessing indeed until that day comes.

I think this is a GREAT list for a Gorgeous Girl like YOU! GRACE is my favorite G word that we share Sandy!

I'm fine, thanks for asking. I've been struggling this week, but I'm coming out of it and feeling better about my position and most importantly my priorities.

Hugs,

:-) Susan
