TUESDAY TIDBITS

Looks like I have taken a couple of days off when it comes to blogging!! I was all set to post yesterday and then my daughter called and wanted me to go shopping with her!! She loves to give at Christmas!! Her hubby is going have to sit on her soon to make her stop!! She says she would rather see people open than to receive (but those of us who know her know that she loves to receive too). She is a lot like me in that way!! I do like to watch each person open that special gift that I bought JUST FOR THEM!! I always like to see if they like it!!

We went shopping all over the place...Byrd Cookie Company; World Market; Target and the best place Panera Bread!! She bought my lunch...Yummy!! Thanks Beck!! That is one of my favorite place to eat!! Our winter has finally came with temperatures yesterday morning of 35 and then this morning of 22!! A bowl of Panera's potato soup and a half sandwich just hit the spot!!

We did some more shopping until we realized that I had to get to work!! Dog gone it all!! I worked from 3-7 which is starting to be my regular hours. I really like that time. I did not think I would when i started but i do now!! We had a few ladies in. I signed up a new lady that was very happy to be there!! I so hope that she loses her weight!! I love watching people loose. Great feeling even for me to see!!

Hubby and I had a great weekend which was spent most of the time together!! I developed a crazy headache Sunday morning when I got up. We went out to Cracker Barrel and took the grands that had stayed the night with us. We met mommy and daddy. Everyone wanted to go do some things but i took our car and went home. I just did not feel like it at all.

I watched a really cute movie while i was by myself...Yes i know another movie!! Might as well understand now..that is one of my passions!! This one was a 1999 one. I don't know how I missed it when it came the first time but I did. This is called "Bi-Centennial Man". It stars Robin Williams. It is a 2 kleenex one!! I just loved it.

When hubby came home I told him that you just have to watch this. Finally later on in the day we both sat down and I watched it again...CRIED again!! If you love movies go rent this one!! You will love it!! Quite a story!!

Today i am home picking up things and washing!! Not one of those fabulous days just one of those "I have to do this" day!! Ever have one of those? May make an apple pie as i have apples that really need to be used..NOW!!

I hope that things are going great at your homes. Shopping is all done and you can relax a little. Hubby is taking off the week between Christmas and New Years!! It will be nice to be together!!

Sounds like you've been doing just what you SHOULD be doing! Enjoying the Christmas Spirit with the family!!! Me too!

Sandy, to me, Santa and God are the same thing. When my children quit believing in the Man in the Red Suit - I always explained to them that I STILL believe! That the Spirit of Christmas is the HOLY SPIRIT - and that God is the one that ensures that gifts are received! So, when I ask Santa for something - truly I am asking God!

Hi Sandy,
It's nice to catch up on your news. Glad you're enjoying those hours at your job. I've heard of Panera Bread but we don't have them close by. Reminds me that I need to make a lunch date with my daughter.
Hope you are enjoying this joyous time of year.

Hi Sandy,

I know you've taken a couple of days off from blogging, and I missed you, too. I'm glad you and your daughter had a shopping day together. I, too, like to see each person open their gift. I hate it when everyone starts tearing into their gifts all at the same time. Then you don't get to see any one person open their gift.

We have a Panera's here, but I have never eaten there.

I'm glad you and your hubby had a good weekend together. So you watched the same movie twice in the same night. I like movies, but it has to be a really great one for me to want to see it twice.

Sandy, thanks for stopping by my blog today. You made the comment you wish my photos would enlarge so you could see them better. It must be something I'm doing wrong. I just asked Karen how to enlarge pictures to go on the sidebar and also inside a post. She has an award on her sidebar that is so much bigger than mine, and it is the same award. There's got to be a way. I hope you can shed some light on this for me.

Have a good rest of the week.

Hi Sandy. So sorry to hear you had one of your awful headaches...not much fun at all, are they?

Apart from that, it sounds as if you've had a lovely time with your loved ones and Christmas is still to come!

In case I don't get back to visit, I hope your Christmas is all you'd wish it to be.
