Good Morning!! It is a dull and dreary looking day here in Southern Georgia!! But I am still very thankful for many many things today!!
We had a great night for the Trick or Treaters!! It was absolutely PERFECT weather!! I had to work till 7 so I just got in on the tail of all the fun. We have several neighbors here that sit outside and greet each child as they come by. This makes it so much fun for all of us!! My grandchildren did not make it over last night but I will include a cute picture of them anyway!!
Today's Thankful list:
- I have a job that I like for the first time in my life. I think I am going to be getting more hours so I will be able to help some around here.
- My health is great!! I try not to pay attention to headaches that still plague me!!
- My home is comfortable and we have everything that we need. God always supplies!
- My attitude is getting better and better everyday in the area of worrying!
- I am striving each day to love myself more!
- Our home is still standing and we do not have any horrible event coming...fire etc. I am so happy to have a home and not be homeless like so many in California.
- My hubby works hard to make a good living for us.
- My parents are happy and well
- Grandchildren are growing up so fast!! Makes my head spin!!
- Our oldest son has a birthday real soon and it does not seem like 43 years have passed this quickly. He is happy!!
- I have a nice car to drive with gas in it!!

Oh... ya know what? I never have gotten that photo CD. I don't know WHERE it ended up - but not at my house! Don't bother to send another though... at this point I've come to the conclusion that for SOME reason, God does not WANT me to have those pictures! LOL!
We had a great night for the trick or treaters...me and all of my neighbors sat outside and I was in full costume with my boom box going and the grands, kind of made it into a street party...lol!

Hi Sandy,I am one for taking my blessings and not thanking the lord who made them possible....
My grands went trick or treat last night while I stayed at their house and passed out the candy....Sounds like you had fun last night.That is great that you can get more hours to work.I have been to Curves my three times for the week.We will be traveling back home tomorrow.I may not get to post Friday's feast until I get home...see you on Monday. You know, Sandy, it's really lovely to read your "Thankful" posts. They are so positive and uplifting.
I have a little book and I try to list five "thankfuls" in it each day. I read about doing that somewhere in a book, and I've been doing it since. It certainly makes a difference.
